In the Tags list, only the notes tags to which the user has access are visible. This is the right behavior.

But in the note editor, all tags from every users are suggested. This can lead to confidentiality issue and useless tags burden.

It would be great to have the same behavior as the Tags list.

For individual users, there are very few reasons to keep using Legacy. V10 has improved over time and is ready to use.

But in a business environment, there is a critical issue regarding the confidentiality of tags visibility. With V10, everyone see all tags. Within legacy, tags visibility depends on Notebooks/notes access permissions. Thousands of tags need to be checked and modified and nobody does it while it is working.

In the minor issues, there is no possibility to add color to a tag, and this is part of our way to use Evernote. Our workflow needs to change and everyone trained to it.

Evernote stays for me the best software for our usage and we are moving forward to migrate to V10.

Same issue for 6.25.1, installing 6.25.2 (Evernote Legacy) seems to solve the issue.

With Evernote for Windows 10.3 (Business Users), when you add an existing tag to a note, autocomplete shows all the tags used in the entire organisation.

Some tags contain confidential information that cannot be shown to by all users.

This is a serious issue for us, I hope it will be solved in a future release.

I've reviewed the information you provided to catch myself up. I understand clicking on linked local files within Evernote for Windows that contain special characters like accents in the title no longer works.

I am able to reproduce this exactly as you've described it. I've gathered all of the very helpful information you provided and passed along to the development team for further review. While I don't have a time or date on when this would be resolved, please do know they are working diligently on a resolution. I am still having this issue, even after last Evernote update.

This is really annoying. It prevents me to deploy the new version in our company (Evernote Business users)

Thanks for your answer,

• Tested on both Win7 and Win10.
• Tested on local and network files
• Link re-creation does not work
• Link modification by replacing the � with %E9 does not work either.

Since update 6.16 (or 6.15), hyperlink to a local file with accent into the path does not work anymore.

Instead of having a %E9 (é) in the path, now it display � and the link does not open anymore.
