Sorry to say I'm running into the same problem. iPadOS 17.2 and EN 10.62.0.
The app seems to open fine, but when I tap the blue Edit button on a note it just crashes. I had to fall back to using the Web Client, but I could really do with the App working as I'm about to go on a trip and would like my offline notes.

You don't say which platform you are on, but Mac and Windows clients are available directly from the Evernote site: https://evernote.com/download

I prefer the way it is in v10. It looks exaclty the same on all my devices, and I can switch to a serif or mono font if I wish. Apple Notes, Notion etc all behave the same way as they are note taking apps.
Agree with others, if you're looking to output formatted documents, then I'd start a draft in Evernote and then move to Google Docs/Word/Pages when I was at the formatting stage.

I've been an Evernote user since 2008, but version 10 has ruined my life...
Kidding Just following the tone of many of the moans on here.
In fact, I'm pretty happy with all the recent updates. It seems like we're being treated to lots of quality improvements along with a couple of new features. Just thought I'd post my own personal bugbear. Please can indented paragraphs match up with the text on a list item?
I organise my daily notes around a list of tasks that need to be checked off, but they often have URLs and notes that go along with them. It ends up looking like the list below. But the OCD part of me always gets irked by the headers not lining up with the indented paragraph below.
I guess it's just a tweak to the margins, but it would make things look a lot tidier. Thanks!
PS I'll submit this as a support request too. Just thought I'd copy here incase anyone else has the same reaction. -
It's not the same, but have you tried the Google Workspace Extension?

This does work, albeit it seems a bit slow at present. With all the recent changes to the Evernote server stack, perhaps it'd due a re-write. Hopefully it doesn't get dropped.

@PinkElephant I know most Safari Extensions are content blockers or dark mode doodads, but 1Password, Good Links and Raindrop all have pretty good Extensions. I wonder whether it's more market forces than technical reasons that more aren't available.
As a developer, I like to spend a little time figuring these things out and see what's feasible before ruling things out. Thought it might be worth throwing on here in case someone more in the know about the Web Clipper codebase saw the post.

I'd love to have the desktop web clipper available on iOS/iPadOS. Currently I clip things using the Share Sheet option, which is equivalent to doing a "Full Page" capture on desktop. I usually end up recapturing the page when I'm back on my desktop to make a better job of it.
I looked into this and found the following Apple Developer document https://developer.apple.com/safari/extensions/
QuoteUpgrading macOS Safari web extensions to support iOS and iPadOS
It's easy to upgrade an existing macOS Safari web extension to also support iOS and iPadOS. Simply rerun your project through the command-line web extension converter tool with the --rebuild-project option. This will create a new Xcode project based on your existing project that includes extensions for these platforms.
Surely it couldn't be that simple? I'd have a go if I had access to the source code. It would be amazing to do a Simplified Article or Bookmark capture directly from Safari on mobile.

Yes, also that
@Federico Simionato your keyboard must be almost melting pushing out all these updates!
I just wanted to say thanks to you and the team at Bending Spoons for working through problems quickly and keeping the communication up. It's very reassuring.

@Karl Bagci (Cronofy) I just tried to set this up but get a default Nginx page when I follow the link through from the Evernote site.
I did briefly see the page when I tried earlier, but the images/css was missing so the formatting looked a bit goofy.
Are you able to check and see if everything is OK please?
Many thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. I can see how that would work - but it's not really convenient to have two L shaped bits of paper around all the time.
I do use Microsoft Lens and the Scan option in Google Drive quite regularly, but the advantage of snapping something out of a magazine directly in Evernote is that it does in as an image rather than a PDF, so the content appears inline on all platforms. Rather than a PDF that often needs to be opened in another application.
I can live in hope!

+1 -- I'm finding this an issue too.
For example, if I take a photo of a magazine page where I only want to save a rectangular area for a certain article or advert. There isn't a way to crop the image immediately before saving it back to the note, which to me seems like missing functionality.
As @gazumped points out, you can then 'Annotate' each image once it's in the note to crop it to a simple rectangle, but having to make a second pass of the images seems like a slow workaround.
If a crop tool could be included at the camera stage that would be very helpful and speed up the capture. Ideally, you'd be able to set the point at each corner, but I'd take a simple rectangular crop for now.
Latest Evernote of iOS iPad Pro 5th keeps crashing no matter what when trying to edit any note.

Update... it seems that if you just tap into the note to start editing then that's fine, it's the Big Blue Edit button that crashes the app. Not ideal.
