I have exactly the same issue. Previously, when I edited pdf attachment, the file was automatically updated. Today I got "Resource not changed" message. After reinstalling both Evernote and EZPdf Reader the issue remained.
I found edited files in tmp folder, and of course, I can manually upload them. But, my whole workflow is built around the possibilty of editing note attachments and having updated files automatically saved. I've used it for years.
