Replying to my own topic - the laptop version started to find words in handwritten notes but it was about 1/2 hour after the note was created. Does indexing take place on each computer separately?

On my desktop Evernote program I can find words in handwritten notes but using the same (latest) version of Evernote on my laptop I cannot find words with the same handwritten notes. Am I missing a setting or something else? Thanks
