    A few days ago you suggested that I try to download the latest version of Evernote directly from the Web because I could not get the update function to work. Idid so and then thanked you for providing a simple solution.

    However this has resulted in a new problem. Not all my notes have been included in the latest version. My files seem to be all there but new notes only shown up to mid August.

    Do you have a solution.

      Hmmn.  Have a look online at Evernote.com - when you sign in you'll be able to see all the notes on the server,  which should be all the notes there are.
