  1. Ditto. I am pleasantly pleased as well. They fixed bugs in the Android app where it would sometime lose the entire body of the first note I wrote in the morning just when I am jotting down a brainstorm.
  2. Hello, Agree! Tags are much easier to use. Took me awhile to realize notebooks and stacks in Evernote do not work like the folder/sub-folder structure does in PC's. I will still use them but I am adding tags to my organization as well..
  3. I reinstalled to address a different issue now I can't login with username/password or google. Have a support ticket in.
  4. Hello, I logged out, reinstalled to resolve a different issue now I cannot log back into my paid account on Android. I have submitted a support ticket. Tim
  5. @gazumped How are you. I don't mind paying more if it works but I hate this intermittent *****. It was working fine. They need to fix the synching then add all of these bells and whistles. I've said that before and I'll say it again.
  6. Hello, Here we go again with EN issues. I entered a new note on my Android phone and it looked fine. Then went to my desktop and it was blank. Looked back on my phone and it was blank there too. Chat support is currently offline due to the volume of requests. Note the price of EN is going up. @PinkElephantHow are you?
  7. @PinkElephantConsider this reason for why I believe it is saving to the server. When I open a very small note I see "saving..." then "All changes saved" sometimes it is in a blink but sometimes it takes like 10 seconds. BTW much better than about a week ago! I believe it is saving to the server because of the amount it takes to save these small notes and the time varies randomly. Just an observation.
  8. Hello, I'm a long time user of EN as many of you. Quite honestly EN is the most bug ridden application that I pay for and I'm very unhappy. But they have fixed some of the synch problems I was experiencing. I submitted a support ticket for slow notes opening and to their credit they responded promptly. A ticket is truly the best way to tell them how much pain you're feeling. Just my 2 cents.
  9. @agsteele v10.58.3 is not available to everyone. My EN app says 10.57.10 is the latest. Thoughts please?
  10. We all feel your pain. See previous posts in this discussion group.
  11. Support says the bottom opening notes problem is a separate bug they are also working.
  12. Has anyone noticed having to scroll to the top of a note after it opens? Most but not all are doing this. Wonder if this is related to the slow opening phenomenon. I contacted support.
  13. A little communication and openness go a long way.
  14. Tech support has confirmed this with me as well. No time frame yet. Not yet. I did compare opening times for an Android S10 and a Win 11 gaming desktop both running the latest EN versions. Wasn't simultaneously running the test on both platforms. Different notes open quickly, 2-3 seconds, and some slowly, well over 30 seconds, on both. It seems pretty random.
  15. Yep real-time editing worked for me too plus I had differentiated cursors and I'm logged into the same account on both devices. EN 10.57.10 on the Win 11 laptop and 10.51.1 on an Android S10.
  16. The staff responded to my support ticket about slow opening. But considering the suggestions by @Dave-in-Decatur it really doesn't matter anymore. As the Phil Collins song of the 1980's goes. "I don't care anymore...no more no more...no more no more...". I too am old school. Life is truly too short to get upset about a minute here and a minute there.
  17. EN staff must be aware of these concerns since so many of us share some frustration with this multifaceted problem. All we users can do is assume EN staff is working on a solution since they tend not to communicate with the user base. Yes, we should've been warned about notes opening slowly especially after the issues people have had with notes disappearing. In this EN has no excuse. But now we can all be excited about EN 10.57.10. I quote. "Hi everyone! We are focused on strengthening the foundations of Evernote across all platforms. This release contains important parts of the puzzle as we prepare to roll out the AI Note Cleanup feature. We hope you are as excited as we are about this powerful new feature. Coming soon on all your devices!" Not impressed at all by any new feature in light of this tool taking nearly one minute to open an eight-line text-only note. If you haven't let the EN staff know about your frustrations with this issue. Maybe they will consider making fixing the core of this product a priority.
  18. @PinkElephant Please weigh in on this. I have a powerful PC as well. Lots of free RAM etc. Some notes containing ONLY 8 lines of text take a full minute to convert. Please explain.
  19. I noticed an improvement in note synching especially on my phone once they are converted. I understand why it may take awhile to convert a note on my phone but why is it also slow on my PC with nothing running? I have >8 GB free RAM, Intel 11th gen, Nvidia 3020, SSD, M2 drives etc. Duh something is wrong.
  20. Did notice something strange recently. The modified date was changing on notes that I only opened to view. Now it makes sense.
  21. Thanks @Dave-in-Decatur for sharing the value of RTE. Wish EN would've warned me to expect notes to open slowly due to the conversion. Thought I had lost my notes and that had me scared. Maybe they did and I missed it. Thanks again.
  22. This is the result of adding whiz bang unneeded features on top of buggy software. The synching issues should've been fixed first. This is most likely due to pressure on the SW team by marketing.
