About write2David

  1. In the Windows Evernote app, I can right-click on a note (in the note list) and the click "Duplicate" -- but I can't find a similar function in the web interface. This makes it more difficult to use templates that I create. I submitted a support ticket for this issue, and the person who responded to it suggested that I post this as a feature request in this forum.
  2. I have an Evernote Note that I created using the Windows Evernote app, and I've attached files at specific places within the note (after a heading, and before some bullet points). When I open that note using the Evernote website, and then I attach a file, the file gets attached to the very end of the note, rather than at the location I have my cursor. In other words, I'm not able to use the web app for this note; I need to close it on the web app and then re-open it in the Windows app. I submitted a support ticket for this bug/issue, and the person who responded to it suggested that I post this as a feature request in this forum.
  3. And that is the part that concerns me... Just to confirm: I can have a complete (local) backup of my Evernote data (.ENEX or .EXB files), but a connection to Evernote's servers is required in order for me to access those (local) files via the Evernote desktop app? So, if I ever get locked out of my online Evernote account (or if Evernote's servers go down), then I'm sunk? Apart from HTML export, there is no option for accessing a (local) copy of my data unless I have an internet connection to Evernote's servers?
  4. The issue is described in this post: But it appears that post/thread isn't a "feature request" post, so I'd like to make sure a feature request made it to Evernote. Specifically, I'd like to be able to copy/duplicate a note in the web interface. This is something the Evernote (Windows) client provides.
