I would like to have this feature too! It's been many times I accidentally edited my notes. Suggestion: Make current version by default, so if people like the current way, they will not get effected; Make a "Lock Notes" flag somewhere, for people would like to have their notes locked by default, they could do so buy setting the flag. Thank you!
