  1. Thank you for all the help, really appreciated. If it's not too basic a question, how do I tell if my notebooks are "Local"?
  2. After a PC scare yesterday I thought I had lost everything in Evernote and now realise how much help the notes are to me. I'm a photographer and use Evernote for my locations with the help of images. Can anyone please help with how to back up Evernote so that if I do get a problem, I can restore my notes back to Evernote?
  3. Thanks for the help Gazumped, that sounds a great idea. I'll give it try and see if I can do it that way. Thanks again.
  4. Thanks for the help. At the minute I can't find out how to use the reminders. I've looked online and it tells me to set the preferences but I can't even see anything marked "Preferences" on my copy of the programme.
  5. Thanks for the help, really appreciated. I'll have a search around and give it a try.
  6. When I find out how to set reminders, how do they appear on my PC?
  7. Thanks for the help. I tried adding to the main toolbar at the top of the page and the one I get on a note. Neither of them will let me add anything.
  8. Thanks for the help. When I try to drag the email and reminder buttons to my toolbar the programme will not let me do it. I hover over the toolbar but I can't get the buttons to stay there.
  9. No, sorry I wasn't aware. Is it available if the "Free" version of Evernote or do I need to upgrade?
  10. I use my Evernote programme to store lists of places I want to visit in different parts of England to photograph the landscape. Does anyone know if there is a way I can get the programme to send me an email reminder? I have places listed in the notes and some of the places are best photographed in the Spring, Autumn or Winter which is mentioned in the notes. If it were possible I would like Evernote to send me a reminder by email that it is now "Autumn" and I should be visiting place "X". Hope that all makers sense. Any help or advice would be greatly welcomed.
