  1. Issues with the Sandbox emails should now be resolved. Sandbox was one of the final systems to be migrated to Google Cloud and we had some issues with mail config. Please let us know if you are still seeing issues. Regarding the production service, there are no known email issues currently.   3. Back in September, we announced that Evernote would be migrating to a modern, cloud infrastructure. We lost no time in getting started. Just one month after the announcement, we were already moving data to the Google Cloud Platform. We’re excited to announce that Evernote has successfully migrated our service to the cloud, and accomplished this with minimal impact on our customers.   4. All We have just rolled out a fix that should improve the situation for most users over the next 24 hours. Being transparent due to the nature of this issue we are unable to fully test from impacted locations but we are confident this will significantly improve the situation. Ben
  5. I wanted to give an interim update on the situation. We have identified where and why the block is happening and we are now looking into the options to resolve this. Nothing concrete yet but we have a number of teams trying to fix this.   9. All We wanted to provide you an update on our cloud migration. Progress has been good, we are now running over 60% of the Evernote service from our new home. The downtime experienced by customers has averaged 20 minutes vs our original expectation of 30 minutes. There are two changes we will be making to our schedule This evening (12/15) at 21:00 PST we will need to perform a restart of the service in order to deploy a patch fix.   12. To be very clear on this point, we are not in or going to be in the business of selling marketing data. Our future use of Machine Learning technologies is only to deliver improved features to our users.

  14. Just a reminder that our work to migrate the Evernote service to Google Cloud continues Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 09:00 to 21:00 PST.   22. I think you would have been. We have reviewed all of the logs and around 2.5% of our users would have been impacted, I hope it was not too painful for you. Ben
  23. All Our maintenance today was successful but we did experience a number of periodic sync errors for a small number of our users that have now all been resolved. Our Operations and Engineering team are going to continue to monitor the service closely over the next 24 hours. Regarding the timing of our maintenance windows, unfortunately as we run a global service there are no windows when the service is not used.
