  1. One of the BASIC provisions of a lot of software (if not most), is the ability to create your very own, personalized, expedient, helpful, and aesthetic, HOMESCREEN! The key words being BASIC and HOMESCREEN! Say those two words together, and repeat them a few times- "BASIC HOMESCREEN, BASIC HOMESCREEN, BASIC HOMESCREEN". See how well those two words go together? Many, years ago, someone thought of how helpful it would be to provide a way for the user to personalize their system, by customizing the homescreen. Throughout the years, that idea has been proven to work, to be beneficial, and also to be EXPECTED (or maybe a better way to say it would be "never suspected it to be obsolete". Now, someone has thought "oh, you know that old idea of allowing a user to customize their homescreen, and how people have loved that, and used it year after year? Well, hold on tight, I have a new idea! Let's get rid of it! Let's put what we think is best on the homescreen! People just don't know what they are missing!" I know that I may sound a little animated, but to be very clear, that's because I AM animated. My final words are "Give it back", and "PLEASE?"
  2. "If you searched the forum" is NOT a reasonable response. I actually came across that post in a Google search. So I logged into forum and typed the EXACT title "Evernote Android locks up on Insert > Sketch" and received 10s of thousands of hits, mostly of "pen crashes". I scrolled through some but never saw the title above. I keyed in the EXACT title and expected this one to show up at least in the top 100. Can you imagine only using a few words? The more appropriate response might be "Evernote is aware of this issue and has released 5 revisions without fixing". Just my opinion. By the way, I have the EXACT same issue, locks up when I select Insert>Sketch. I have not found solution yet.
  3. Just had an idea that might work. If I can make the pen color white instead of black, it should have the same results as erasing. And you CAN change the size of the pen. I just thought of this while reading answers, so I tried it. It does work, but unfortunately, Evernote did not provide the color WHITE! The closest is gray. So much for me trying to use creativity to overcome programmers lack thereof (if it sounds like I'm a little ticked, Good observation!!! I can't imagine a world where I was programming a writing and erasing tool, came up with the brilliant idea of "what if someone needed a bigger pen? Oh, I'll make that Adjustable! And what about the eraser? Nah, it don't need it, it's big enough".......
  4. I can "paste" larger fonts in my android Evernotes, but i cannot "change" font size in evernote. I noticed in one "Evernote" response, it was suggested to "click" to increase the number of requests in order to make this a higher priority. Users requests should be sufficient to initiate Evernote to fix, not user request and "click here" to make it important! Besides, click where? I definately agree with others who say "i can't believe this hasn't been fixed". Otherwise, i love Evernote!
