I was able to get a previous version of evernote here (tell me if there's a better way off your evernote servers for the future) https://evernote.en.uptodown.com/mac/versions I used 10.17.18 and everything works fine again. The new version shows an error message "Error happened on our side, sorry, please restart" - something like that ... but it just keeps going around and around not able to start. Please fix and let us know when we should be able to run the current version again. Thanks

I've been a paying customer for years ... I'm having this issue now. Cropped up yesterday and nothing seems to work. It just says "Something went wrong on our end, sorry about that. Please try restarting Evernote" - it just keeps saying that. I'll try an older version since I've found this thread. I hope that i can find a working version. Ah, this link mentioned above seems to be for the "legacy app". I don't want that. I want the "current" evernote to work but i want to test an older version. It seemed to have updated yesterday. That must be what broke the app. Please fix this.

Any updates on this? I see that all my computers are missing this feature now and not all have updated to mojave. That tells me it's an evernote change. Been waiting a while now. Best

Thanks @Nick L., I appreciate that but that always works ... this capture feature allows me to keep a record of exactly how pages look on components I work on or create - I'm a web developer. Dragging text just doesn't cut it. My alternative is that I have to clip an image of the screen with the mac shortcut and then paste it into evernote which is a pain. One lead might be adding to what @DTLow said and perhaps it's an issue with Mohave? If you can check that too that would be great. If I had the spare computer, I'd love to see what Mohave with evernote 7.5 looks like and then upgrade to 7.6 and see if the functionality is still there. My home computer is on Mohave + 7.6. - I couldn't download a working copy of 7.5 to test from anywhere. My other computer is a work computer and at the moment, we can't update to mohave. Let me know if you guys see the feature also gone on Mohave & 7.5 evernote - if so, we know it's a mac OS issue.

Hi this is evernote for mac. I noticed that evernote 7.6 does not have the feature any longer. My laptop with 7.5 still has it. I also checked mac os settings under keyboard like above and it has everything checked for pictures, it's not really a keyboard issue as i always right clicked on evernote and clicked on Capture Selection from Screen. Didn't use a keyboard shortcut. Screenshots also has everything checked Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

I use this a lot for work to pass images with my notes to my team. What happened to my beloved feature? I'm going to be hunting an older version of evernote if it's gone

Ah I was confused a bit, i was actually looking for "What happened to ... Capture Selection from Screen which i use a ton for debug notes to my team at work (at the bottom of image). The updated version of evernote sadly doesn't seem to have it

Did the image clipper functionality disappear again? It is one of the best features and is sooooo useful. Where is it?
