  1. SHIFT won't work either, actually it accepts no type of file if I hold it down, but found a workaround, rename .txt to something else, drag it in, then rename the file within Evernote back to .txt.
  2. Title says it all, any other file, 7z, zip, doc, and every other filetype I know off works, bu it just ignores if I drag files ending in .txt.
  3. I got blue pop-up in Evernote advising me to update, so I did thinking, why not haven't updated in a while. It brought me to a whole new evernote, it was so slow, some notes took 5 seconds to appear and some failed to load at all. I do like the Dark Mode, but I am NOT trading it for performance, I have a very fast modern machine and this was embarrassing experience.
  4. Still using 6.11, checked each version, and continued to roll-back, this is just ridiculous, can't copy entire tables, columns and templates to other notes, (CTRL + C is ignored, Menu > Edit > Copy > is ignored ) it's completely unusable for my style of work. Maybe its time let forget the eye-candy. A new shiny Icon, and cosmetic appearances just doesn't make up for what has been lost.
  5. Coping a entire row from one table, then pasting it onto another note with a table and row, no longer works. This even made it into the offical 6.13 release, is this purposely done? I simply couldn't use it without that feature, I just been through the painful task of rolling back. ( I guess it's ok because 13 is an unlucky number.)
  6. Just looked but didn't think it would possibily be there because it was never deleted and the note and note title actually still exists in the correct notebook, but all contents were erased...
  7. Years to creatre/maintain it, yet a split of a second to lose it Somehow I accidently had entire note selected, then pressed the Back button and also hit another key along the process which completely cleared the note, panicked, then immediately Forward to in hope to Undo it, but nope, note gone forever. Undo option was not working, or CTRL + SHIFT + Z Is this suppose to be this way,. does it lose it's entire undo history on the previous note, if you jump to another note, BEFORE you realise your mistake? Because right now, I can never rely on Evernote to store important documents again...
  8. You have to completely uninstall the latest version, then install an earlier version, only downside, you will lose all your settings.
  9. I had to roll-back to Evernote 6.9.7.6770, after several hours it was driving me crazy, 1 second delay to display each note, and my searches weren't giving me all the results I expect than the previous version.
  10. Thanks I exported as a ENEX its about 25MB, possible, but I'll till end of the month if I got that much FS by then.
  11. Hi, im wondering, last month I very much when over my 60mb limit immediately as i moved an offline notebook into a sync notebook, so is there anyway I can find out the size of it before I make this decision, as Right-Click > Properties does not tell me?
  12. Thought I'll update here again with good news! But after updating to version 6.8.6387 over a week ago, I haven't a single problem with this anymore. Dunno what you changed but its fixed that once annoying issue, very thankful for it. Now more than happy to upgrade to subscription very soon.
  13. It's not unusable, I like it how it organised and keeps your notes together. Yesterday I deleted the database yet again, then this this reconstructed on a brand new SSD, it worked perfectly for the rest of the day, but next day the problem returned back in full force. Really strange, my PCs can't be any different from anyone else. I now been thinking of instalingl it in guest OS inside Virtualbox, when I need open all the time. Meanwhile my mystery continues...
  14. I really wish I could think of something else to try to stop the crashing, because I'm soon approaching the limitations of the free version, and had been planning on paying very soon. Yet, the crashing continues in the foreground o even background without no warning, its just like, ill copy this and.. Boom! Everything gone! along with all open evernote windows, and sometimes a slight bit of data loss whatever I typed just recently, and off course, an empty clipboard. Then its the time-consuming task opening it again, finding the note I was on before it crashed and finding reopening the windows I had open earlier i use for reference. (I probably do this about 20 times a day) What I've tried. 1. Deleting the entire Database Folder, and letting Evernote reconstruct it (Quite a few times now) 2. Keeping very minimum other applications open, sometimes nothing but Evernote and a just an internet browser. 3. Keeping it up-to-date (now at version 6.7.5.5825) 4. Tested it on the same dual-boot machine by this time using Windows 7. 5. Tried it several times even a completely different machine with Windows 10. Sometimes when i use the clipboard for some other purpose I wish I could just block Evernote from monitoring it and just turn it on whenever I need it...
  15. It's either a software/driver thats either conflicting that I have installed on every machine. ( Something to do with my heavy networking which also shares the clipboard is my suspicion) Or could my Database be corrupt which in-turn uploaded it to the server, and then downloading the corruption to my other machines? Either way I can live with it. Pain, but things could be worse, definatley doesn't sound like a memory problem as i have 8GIG or 16GIG installed on my machines.
