  1. I suppose Evernote is just resource hungry. I finally replaced my old phone, and it is running fine on the new one... I had many performance issues on the Moto G Power since the new major version release of Evernote. I had reinstalled the app a couple times but it still performed SLOW and buggy. Now on the S23 Ultra with 8GB RAM and a Snapdragon 8 Octa-core processor, Evernote runs as fast as it did before the v10 upgrade on the Moto G Power. The G Power is of course a less expensive phone, but in my opinion EN should be designed to run well on a phone like the Moto G Power. Evernote was the only APP of many with performance issues on the phone... Not everyone can (or wants) to afford a $1,000 +/- phone... I love EN, but I wish they would post a minimum hardware spec for running it.
  2. I submitted a support ticket about the problem and the tec said they were aware of it and would fix it in an update. On another note; I finally replaced my old phone, and Evernote is running fine on the new one... I had many performance issues on the Moto G Power since the new major version release of Evernote. I had reinstalled the app a couple times on the G Power but it (EN) still performed SLOW and buggy. Now with the new install on the new Andoid phone it works great! I know the G Power is a less expensive phone, but EN should be designed to run on it well in my opinion. Not everyone can (or wants) to afford a $800 phone.
  3. I am having the exact same problem. I too have been using (as a paid subscriber) for many years. Motorola Moto G Power Evernote Android v 10.46 Android v 11 When this happens to me, I cannot even cancel. The "capturing" rotation icon keeps going forever. The only way out for me was to press the take photo button. As you described, that took the photo with cropped border, but not clean and clear with black & white like it did before. In this case it is still in color and is also washed out. Since the major overhaul version change, the Android version has been very slow, but has been barely usable. Now with this problem, the app is not worth having, as I rely on Evernote for keeping paperless receipts.
  4. The bottom line is that the new Android app v10 has been a horribly slow resource hog from day 1 and EN will not acknowledge it so it is doubtful they intend of fixing it any time soon. The solution to stop depending on it is a good one but it sucks because I am heavily invested. Iv been waiting for a long time now with no improvements so it's time to cancel the paid subscription and find an alternative.
  5. The automatic sync does not always work and a manual sync button should still be available. I get sync from android to the cloud, but it sometimes takes 15 minutes to finally sync with the Windows app. Since the big change in the so called upgrade, the Android app has really been unbearably slow for scanning, moving note to a notebook, and tagging. I have had it with the lack of EN addressing the issue. I am cancelling the paid prescription and moving elsewhere.
  6. So we all know there are slowness issues, especially on the mobile app for Android (I haven't used iOS)... The question is; What will Evernote do about it? I cannot pay premium for an APP that is useless! Thankfully, I haven't had a problem with the Windows desktop version. But the Android APP is not usable at all!
  7. Your 2 factor setup process makes it appear that Google Authenticator is the only option. Google authenticator is not so secure because one cannot use fingerprint biometrics or other means to secure it in the event the phone or other device get lost. The help file topic makes clear that other APPS can be used; but not the actual setup process in the user account... Please make the setup process clear that other APPS such as Authy, Lastpass Authenticator, etc. can be used.
  8. SLOW on Android Scanning receipts, tagging them, and placing them in the correct notebook is painfully slow. I hope EN gets this fixed. I wish I could go back to legacy on the Android the meantime.
  9. I would use this a lot when creating notes by way of sharing pdf files of paid statements to Evernote. When I do this at bill paying time there are 4 or 5 tags that would be applicable to several notes created in a session. Copying and Pasting tags would be very simple and effective... Much better than the inaccuracies probable with workarounds.
  10. Just looked to see if there was any implementation of "Copy and Paste" tags. I would use this a lot when creating notes by way of sharing pdf files of paid statements. When I do this at bill paying time there are 4 or 5 tags that would be applicable to several notes. A template would not work as well as a copy and paste tags feature.
  11. I simply mean that it would be very useful to be able copy & paste tags from one note to other notes. Whether or not they are in a notebook for that matter. I often want the same tags for many notes, especially several notes within a notebook. I searched the help & learning for templates but don't see anything relevant. Is that a feature for a Business user? I have a premium account.
  12. I find very often that lots of new notes in a notebook will use the same tags as the first note in the notebook when I am paying statements and create the notes by sharing to Evernote from a pdf... It would be so fast and easy to be able to copy the tags from the first note and paste (or share) the tags to the subsequent notes as they are created and added to the folder. Please add this feature!
  13. Evernote needs setting for unique notification ringtone rather than using the default. I want to be able to distinguish Evernote reminders from other events.
