  1. @DTLow, or anyone: Ref: "If my local database gets corrupted, I simply rebuild it from the Evernote servers" Can somebody please explain how this is done. Thanks
  2. C'mon Evernote, let's get this done. You have a clear enough indication that your users -- you know, those annoying people who make your company profitable -- need this simple, basic feature. To be unresponsive to this for over a year is a pretty poor show...
  3. If only it were single-spaced... But it's not single-spaced, that's the problem. Once a note is created, via copy/paste, or via web clipper -- and the double-spacing is there, you cannot get rid of it, cannot change it to single-spaced. Which is ludicrous, 7 years after it was first reported. Evernote should be ashamed of itself, rolling out new unwanted bells and whistles, new marketing-related rubbish, new products, new versions, whilst ignoring a basic problem like this.
  4. Thanks, but I'm a bit beyond a restart. I mean that a restart occurred very early in the attempt to find and fix. Nothing whatsoever changed that is under my control. Having restarted and seen the problem still there, I left it for the day. Overnight, with my machine on the whole time, the problem disappeared. Today, my notes are wrapped as normal. I have seen this particular behavior once before in Evernote and that time also it just was no longer there when I opened Evernote the next day. I realize there is absolutely no logic to this -- or none that I can see, at least -- but there it is. That's what happened. Twice. Not much help to anybody else but, along with 'restart' I'll just add 'wait until tomorrow' to my magic fixes.
  5. All my notes (5000+) have suddenly lost their word wrap. Content display is too wide for the note window. Windows 7. This is nothing to do with formatting. 'Simplify Formatting' makes no difference. This is not caused by web content, or hyperlinks. I can copy content into a text editor and copy it back into a note -- there is no word wrap. I can type directly into a new note and there is no word wrap.
  6. LIKE THIS Quote From the Evernote Windows client, choose: Tools | Options | General | Evernote local files -- then hit the "Change..." button. Doesn't work for me -- I am only seeing a very limited option for path in the window that appears under the 'Change' button -- it appears to be constrained to the user folder on the 'C' drive. I need to locate my data on a different local drive, not on my 'C' drive, which is a small SSD boot drive. Is it not possible to relocate the data to a location of my choice via this process? Why would it be constrained?
