  1. I didn't used that feature in V6 but i support general trend to return old v6 features when it possible.
  2. I use note links tiles and it would be nice to see just many tasks inside a note?
  3. Now its working. May be the latest updates done something in the system.
  4. I assume i use regular sized images. Can any one post a screen shot of how it should look according to EN release notes?
  5. Am i understanding correctly release note? I thought you can place two images on the same line. Its not working with my PC client. I am probably not understanding meaning of the release note.
  6. I am not tech expert but I wish EN allowed more design and tools on the notes.
  7. I was able to reproduce the bug. It happened after I applied the same design.
  8. The Evernote experience with page rendering... Haven't the Evernote users suffered enough?
  9. Some VPNs allow whitelisting specific apps. Here is example from my VPN app.
  10. I don't know what to expect. If this is a bookmark tool, it looks cumbersome.
  11. I am trying to clip some profiles on LinkedIn. Apparently EN supports Linkdein. I am using Chrome on Windows 10 Machine and this what I see trying to clip. The content is not present except profile picture. The same repeats in EN app itself.
  12. I wish a was on Evernote payroll but i am not. I know enough about SAAS companies to know that they are not our friends. They care about ARR, MRR and growth. This is the end of a line. Many great products are killed because faulty business models. The new management is moving fast because the company is on a leased time. I am betting Evernote got less than a year to make a buck before it resold again. It can be resold again even if they make a buck. But they might keep it. Right now the entire company's future is concentrated on one Excel sheet. If you want stability and future, you should move to other app. I repeatedly suggested One Note due to my experience at work.
  13. The company and people that gave those prices are now gone. The new management is doing things differently.
  14. I suggest One Note. If you are paying for Office 365, you already have that. It's a bit different to all other systems but it has some pluses. I use it at work and now believe that Microsoft has done many right things with that tool but it's still second fiddle to Excel and Word. Now with the upcoming CoPilot, they're going to make some noise. Also, Microsoft sells that tool to corporate. Microsoft is not killing that kind of tool such as Google. So I presume we are going to see One Note for 10-15 years.
  15. I am not betting on AI search. Not good enough. I sprinkle keywords in my notes. Sometime add tags and link to other notes.
  16. I noticed that with new notes. I think there is a delay with search index.
  17. Thanks for the replies. The main issue that bug me is inconsistent reaction from the app. Just moving the file changes how its handled.
  18. I wrote about this issue few months ago but it seems to persist. I uploaded audio file through Android. Got blue play icon. Then tried to copy audio file to other note: Blue play icon is gone and the file cannot be played in EN.
  19. I am using my phone to scan documents. The usual ceremony is to wait few minutes or hours for Evernote to remove its green sync symbol from the note in the phone. This was the situation for years. Today it was cleared in less than a minutes. I see the scanned note on my PC also in a minute. Note counts still different (PC 6,666 vs Android 6,665). Don't know why note count is different but the latest notes are there. Also, Evernote PC install file download speed are back and even faster.
  20. Risky proposal but try Office 365. It got built in OCR and many of us already buy the license. You can also supplement it with One Note.
  21. I am still with Evernote after price increase but tested some things: Notion: You can do anything and that can become a problem. Building system becomes a job and you missing out doing the actual work. Nimbus: Yep, comes close to be a king. Tags are not there yet. Company moves really fast. If you like EN, Nimbus gives that feeling. Obsidian: Some EN gurus are also using this. Looks like the future, but if you like simplicity and avoid getting in building "the system", pass it for now. One Note: I use it in my current work (can use EN a company work with Office 365). Workflow is different BUT The good 1. Support Right to left text. 2. Plays nice with Excel. 3. Notebook structure makes sense and this is the main thing for organizing. 4. Page less design or choose page design. 5. Super fast export to Outlook (share with email and bam, the page is in outlook). 6. Math support. 7. Super fast export to PDF (Press button and its there). 8. PC client is a native app so its fast and responsive (some folks hate EN V10 for being a web app). I get it why some people Love One Note. If Microsoft will support it like they do with Excel, it can be a huge success. If you are a big on tags, you will not like One Note. But some EN gurus are avoiding tags (I was big on tags but made poor design choices in EN so i quit, rely on folder design). The Bad 1. Android version sucks (remember that page less design thingy?). 2. Online and Offline content don't look same. I work only with offline version (PC version). May be it Right to Left text issue. 3. Online version is with simplified toolbar.
  22. This is a missed feature. Some EN competition offer this feature as publishing your own wiki or similar.
  23. Damn, Chinese EN mind map tool looks cool. Also, Chinese EN boasts about global reach. I presume Chinese users are not aware what happens abroad.
