  1. So Evernote employees don't use Evernote. They use something called Growsumo. Only one person (Charlotte Boyd) monitors it and that is the only way we ECC's have of getting support regarding EBA referral support. I've spent most of today trying to get ahold of Charlotte, from emails, to Growsumo posts, to Facebook ECC group - I'm frustrated that there is no one available - and the EBA prices change tomorrow. Coincidence?
  2. If you already have a ToC type note and want to add a new note to it, from list view (in Evernote Windows) right click on the note that you want to add, choose "copy internal link" then go to where you want to add the link in your ToC, and [ctl]+v to paste the link. TaDA! You could even get fancy doo and make a table with the note links in it, and columns for initials, comments etc.
  3. Thanks, I'll give this a try next time I'm just sitting here watching the wheel spin.

  5. Evergreen Office - have you considered using Table of Content notes? You could group all of the notes for each project on a table of contents note, then as the project moves along, you could update the links to the newest set of drawings, adding comments before after and around the note links.
  6. " You can filter a Spaces' set of notes by tag" When I filter for a tag, outside of any Spaces, will the result show notes with that tag within a Space that I have been invited to by someone else, as well as any notes I have with that tag?
  7. Yes, but this makes a mess of my notebooks, and causes huge problems. I need it to sync changes to say, 700 notes that have just had a tag added. Something we could turn on and off would work.
  8. This is FAR more important that Evernote Employees spending time making fancy doo templates, in my opinion. (for what that's worth) I have an up to date computer, (windows) and incredibly fast wifi. This is for sure an Evernote problem.
  9. Okay, so maybe Evernote Basic or Personal can live without the Ding! at the end of the sync cycle. But how can we have people paid by the hour to get work done - I mean outside of Evernote - using Evernote as a tool, sitting and watching the sync wheel?? Surely this waste of time negates the benefit of using a business application intended to save time. I'm so tired of sitting at my desk watching the Evernote sync wheel spin. I have THREE computers set up now, so I can do other things while waiting. Since 2010 I have been asking for an audible sound when the sync is done. Please, this is wasting so much of my time and as an Evernote Certified Consultant I just can not justify billing my clients for this time. I can't afford to do it for free, and Evernote so far has not offered to pay me for my time logged waiting for the sync to happen. I work on large numbers of notes, doing group tagging and moving from notebook to notebook, then sharing these notebooks between different EBA's. I have learned that I MUST sync after tagging BEFORE moving, or the tags don't 'stick'. Notebook name changes are the same. Change the name, sync. Share the notebook. Sync. Receive a shared notebook, sync. Evernote doesn't let me do anything while it's syncing so I have to sit and wait and wait and wait. Is anyone else having this problem? Any time I've brought it up with Evernote Support (miss ya Terry O!) they say they are working on making the sync happen faster. Or in the background. Or anything BUT adding a ding! when the sync is done. Can we have the Evernote Business development team look into this?

  11. This is what I want to do with spaces too. I have corporations with multiple companies. I imagine one EBA, with spaces for each company. I do need somehow to share groups of notebooks with outside users, accountants, auditors, engineers, etc. Some do have Evernote Business accounts of their own, so I can't just have them join ours.
  12. While I was wandering around today, I discovered that Dropbox Business has this for their admins. Dropbox Business Admin - Export member data report Someone heard me, but not the ones I need to have this in Evernote Business. I'm currently spitting a huge Evernote Business account into two, due to change in management. This type of report would be incredibly handy right now.
  13. I'm on a mac, trying to change the name of a notebook that was shared with me and I have joined. Any clues? Thanks!
  14. I would really like work done around the admin of notebooks. In addition to your great suggestion Stacey, I would like to see a table showing who has joined which notebooks, and what access they have (invite, edit, view). I'm currently creating one of these manually, with 200+ notebooks and 12 users. It is a crazy cumbersome task, but necessary to sort out why certain users aren't finding notes (the answer is because they have not joined the notebook which the note is in). I'm hoping the new invitation to beta test will bring some focus on administering these large multi user Evernote accounts.
