  1. Title sez it all. Changing the tag is a change to the note, no? Seems like the Updated time should change to reflect it.
  2. This should be an easy one. When displaying all the notes in a notebook stack, add a column that shows which notebook the note is in. You'll be on my Christmas list forever if you do this :-) Applies to all versions of Evernote, not just Mac, but I just happen to be on my Mac right now. Thanks!
  3. I use EN for different things, such as notes for recording sessions and tracking bugs and features in my software job. I find that I almost always apply the same tag to a note when it is first entered, depending on which notebook it's in (a software project, a recording project, home maintenance, etc.). For example, a note about a software feature request is typically "Requested", while a bug report is "Submitted". (Recording session notes don't usually have tags). It would be useful if a Notebook could be set up to apply a specific tag to a new note based on the notebook. It could also be useful if tags were organized by notebook as well, rather than being global. Then when changing a tag, only tags that are relevant to that notebook are presented. Of course this is most useful for those who have a lot of tags. Thanks!
  4. What I don't understand is why there's a Configuration option to turn the feature on / off???
  5. Like the new code block feature! Next it would be nice to be able to set the code font -- it's a little small for my old tired eyes :-). Also nice would be syntax highlighting, but can live without that.
  6. When a new note is created, the first few words of the note text is copied to the title. Please provide a way to disable this on Windows and OS X. While you're at it, please also remove the "Title" string that is displayed if the note has no explicit title (or provide a way to remove it). If I don't want a title, then I don't want one. Shouldn't that be my decision? Thanks.
  7. I know there's a "copy note link" in the Note menu, but it would also be very useful if linking to a note or notebook could be added via the pop-up menu from the editor.
  8. I don't know what a "task notebook" is, but the notebooks for my programming and recording projects were tending to be named like, "project bugs", "project suggestions", "project schedule", ... I was looking for a way to have a 'project' folder with subfolders for bugs, suggestions, etc. The EverNote Stacks feature lets me do that, and it's built right in. If you're not familiar with this feature, check this link: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314158-How-to-organize-notebooks-into-stacks. I've only started using it but I'm feeling like it's really going to aid in staying organized. BTW, I'm starting to use tags too, but in a basic, conventional sense. For example, for programming tasks, I have tags like "submitted", "working", "deferred", "fixed", etc. I'm interested in what other ways tags might be useful. All of this is very tentative, I've only been using EN for about a month.
  9. Just this minute I discovered stacks while browsing other feedback. This may be enough "hierarchy" for me. I don't have that many notebooks yet; we'll see how it scales. Nice feature though!
  10. The green text and panel backgrounds is giving me a headache!!
  11. I use both Windows and Mac, more on Windows. So, what direction IS Evernote moving in? I'm a relatively new user but quickly becoming dependent. It would be nice to know the kinds of features that are most likely to appear in the future. Thanks!
  12. I really like the way the Reminders are displayed at the top of the list in the Snippet and Card views. It would be nice if that was the case in the List view as well. Also, it would be nice to be able to "anchor" a (set of) note(s) so that it (they) is (are) always at the top of the list.
  13. How about sub-to-dos under to-do? Then you could break a to-do task into a number of sub-tasks, each with a checkbox. When all the sub-tasks are checked, the parent task is checked. Or check the parent to mark all the subs as complete.
  14. Yea, but I tend to forget exactly how I named and capitalized tags. Especially those not used every day. English words have so many synonyms!
  15. On the PC there's a menu item to open the tags list and click to select tags for a note. I can't find a similar function for the Mac version? It would be nice if you could right-click on the tag editbox and get a pop-up list of selectable tags. Or a menu. Something. Thanks!
  16. I like the List view for most things, but I'd like to have different columns displayed for different notebooks. Thanks!
