  1. Hi, just performed a simple search today for the key word "this". Went for the option "searching in your notebooks" in Evernote Web (I don't have an offline client on Linux, thanks). Result = 0! But I have a note called "fix this" in one of my notebooks. Totally unacceptable.. and pretty embarassing Now go on fan boy, give yourself an argument for spending sooo much money in a """"""premium""""" product
  2. I considered Google Keep several times but.. - can't create single note's shortcuts on home screen (Android version) - can't attach audio recording to the notes (only "talking notes"!) - doesn't let me organize the order of the images attached to the note - I'd love to nest notes into notebooks - no text formatting I hope it will improve with time! Apparently Joplin does better! (despite a so-so UI) Have you guys tried Joplin?
  3. Hi, I'm Linux user and I like evernote and used it (freely) for years. I miss an official Linux client(!) and don't like the unofficial ones.I was about to premium when I realised that the chome extension doesn't offer OFFLINE modality as advertised in the Chrome store (apparently works only for Chromebooks), can please somebody confirm this? That's also why I'm not satisfied with unofficial Linux clients, missing OFFLINE support. Evernote price is pretty high, which I'm happy it if it comes with fulll LINUX support! We're not second class citizen. Thanks
  4. Thanks for support, I tried searching for "*netflix*", "*netflix" and "netflix*" but the email address "sep16netflix@gmail.com" never showed up in the results. Beside I find it a little bit counter-intuitive that for a basic search like that someone has to find out that there are cheat sheets and to use them, don't you think? These are basic features used by average users. Cheers
  5. Hi, I'm using Evernote web version/UI (linux user) and if I do a search function for a sigle word, for example "netflix", it will find me the word netflix in various notes but it NEVER show me the notes where the word is contained inside an email address, like for example sep16netflix@gmail.com or inside other word, like for example "netflixblahblah". Please what's wrong with the search function and how can I rely on it when not able to perform such a basic function? Many thanks
  6. Unfortunately not true. I just tried the Android app and it doesn't offer any 'sign-in with Google' option at log-in.
  7. hi, can I use this feature to login into my mobile Android app? I wonder if I can have an account accessible only by 'sign in with Google' so that I don't need to worry about regularly changing the other password. Let's say I enable this new feature and start using it all the time and then forget about the old login credentials: my password will be unlikely updated (by me) and the security of my account could be affected (maybe this is a small detail for this early stage of this login system adoption but still..). And please also what about if I create a new account: will I be able to do it without creating a dedicated password and just by useing 'sign in with Google' feature? But then the same question will I be able to login through the mobile apps? Another concern is with Linux enviroment applications (not officially supported and created by third parties): will they still be able access EN notes? Thanks for any clarification
  8. I don't know how to switch back to the old web UI, is it not possible anymore? I like the look of the new UI, but it feels sluggish, good looking but less functional. For example with the old UI you coud always sse at glance every note in every notebook, but now... well you have to select each notebook to see the notes in it. The note list is ok.. but it doesn't tell you immediately in which notebook they belong. Am I the only one missing this "feature"?

  10. oh gosh.. I just tried Google Keep, nice app but I can't find any search within the note button/link! Am I blind????
  11. thanks god. I hope they add it fast or I'll abandon ship (hello google docs)
  12. I was considering going premium, but beacuse of the lack of this feature I'm considering moving to another app. I'm possibly going to miss EN but that search within a note (especially big/long ones) is kind of basic. Please don't consider my reaction basic.. but you know it's 2016. I'll start by trying Google Docs, because it also has offline notes but I'm open to suggestions. Cheers
