Meanwhile I get my Android Evernote to work only for 1 clipping, no matter if it's an image/screenshot or a website, when I cleared the app's cache. Then it fails again. But: I have found my "perfect" workaround: sending everything to my Evernote e-mail adress. At the Evernote desktop I only need to clip websites again since in the e-mail is only link. It works with this temporary hack, but Evernote should really hurry up! I pay a lot of money for that s*hit that it is in the moment !!! 🤬 🠠
when can we finally expect a fix???
We're confident this fix will be available in the next update, 10.52 available in a few weeks.

Hey folks,
Yesterday the Evernote team deployed a backend update to the real time editing service that will address the majority of the issues related to slow note opening. It will also help alleviate some other issues that appeared as a result of a cascading effect due to the slowness in loading notes (some tasks problems).
This backend release focuses on a few things, but most importantly:
1. Faster load times of the notes
2. Faster "content merge" of the notes, meaning that content edited in two different places will merge faster, regardless of how much data it is.
3. Fewer errors and disconnects with the real time editing service. The fix is live now (no need for software updates). Please let me know if you are not seeing any improvements on your end.
Thanks again for everyone's support in helping us make a better product.

Thank you for the report on the hang. I reproduced and filed a ticket for the devs.
As to the image, this is a problematic website for us because in simplified and article mode the image is also not saved. Thanks for reporting!

I was able to reproduce this 'rare' bug in 5 minutes as follows:
- I created a new note on my windows client
- I typed a few lines of text
- I started my android client which was not synced for a day, so several notes needed to be synced
- While my phone was still busy with syncing , I opened the newly created note concurrently (just for reading)
- The new note stayed blank on my android phone. After waiting 1 minute, I closed the note and opened it again. Then 1 line of the three had finally arrived
- I opened the same note in the Web Client, concurrently (just reading) with android and windows client: even there only 1 line was visible in the note although the original note in the windows client contained 3 lines.
- I was able to enter new text in the windows client, everything was completely synced according the app but nothing came through anymore in the Web or Android client
- I closed the note on the windows client and opened it again, and suddenly my new content was lost and contained only one text line anymore, my note was reverted to a previous version.
- History didn't contain the lost data!
This looks very much like a race condition bug in the sync mechanism 😕
EN v10.58.3
Hi @eric99
I followed these steps a few times and couldn't reproduce the problem. Can you DM me your logs and the URL of the note you lost data from?

Hi @ahmed mohamed,
Thanks for reporting this. We are currently aware of a bug that can cause this if you had the note in Scratchpad and converted it into a note, or if you used Android Evernote widget to create the note. Do you recall how this note was created? From the screenshot seems like it was a webclip, however I'd like to confirm.

Hey @FayNYC
I can help clarify some questions.
1. This first point is more to review if any of your notes are not synced. For example, if you used the app offline, the note snippets will show a gray icon on the top right corner indicating that these notes haven't been synced yet. The first point you mentioned is a visual verification of your notes to see if you have anything that hasn't synced. You can also go to Evernote Web and compare your note count or just take a side by side peek.
2. No comments here. Seems like you got it 👍
3. Uninstalling an app on the Mac consists simply of dragging it to the trash, however all apps will leave things behind. If you want to do a clean uninstall of Evernote for Mac you have to do the following:
1. Open a Finder window
2. In the menu bar select Go > Go To Folder
3. Paste "~/Library/Application Support" without the quotes in the box and press "Go"
4. Find the "Evernote" folder and delete it.
Hope this helps!- 1

Ok, so you can't put tasks INSIDE tables, but you can use tables IN BETWEEN tasks lists to sort them vertically. Although I would love to be able to sort them horizontally, I guess this works for now.
Let's see if swapping tasks around within a note will ***** things up in the long run.
Also I have noticed a few 'ghosts tasks' that seem to refuse to die (or they were just too determined to be recurring tasks). These seem to follow the same pattern as those auto-duplicating notes on those beautiful slow-sync days. The only thing worked for for me was putting the task note in the trash (after copying everything but the 'ghost task' and pasting them over in a new note). [NOTE: This started happening long before I started messing about and rearranging tasks lists like in the photo!]
I can probably help you with eliminating your ghost tasks. Please DM me if you're still seeing the issue so I can help out.
Thanks for reporting!

Has anyone had a problem with recurring tasks, not recurring? I had one the first day, but assumed user error. But it happened again today.
A daily recurring task wasn't there. So I looked through the completed tasks and it was there like any other. Task was striked out, but it showed the correct next occurrence, it just wasn't in my list. Thanks for reporting. We actually have a bug open for this that is on our roadmap to fix. The best way to fix the task is to delete the due date and setup the recurrence again, or delete and recreate the task with its recurrence. Sorry for the inconvenience but rest assured we're working on a fix.

The blocks appear when you're using a version of Evernote that doesn't support tasks. I recommend that you install the latest version of Evernote from evernote.com/download or try https://www.evernote.com/Login.action to see your tasks.

This issue should be fixed moving forward to all users. Thanks everyone for the reports!

Great question. Here's how the relevance algorithm sorts your tasks in "My Tasks" in order of priority
1.Tasks overdue by less than 14 days
2. Tasks that are due in the next 2 days
3. Flagged tasks
4. Tasks with due dates
5. Assigned tasks- 5

How do I stop the popup telling me to try recurring tasks every time I open EN on Windows Desktop? I have already updated and am using recurring task
We're looking into this problem, but likely can be resolved by rebooting your PC or quitting and reopening Evernote like @agsteele recommended. Can you let us know if that worked?

A task/reminder added to any note sometimes syncs very slowly, usually when reopening the app, with the edit button turning into a arrow circle for about 10-30 seconds. If I remove the task, the sync returns to normal. I also have a dedicated note for tasks too, and the same syncing issue arises.
Tasks created inside notes with or without a reminder have always for me synched very slowly in iOS. With the news of recurring reminders, I thought I would give it another go but it’s the same.
Anyone else having same issue and how to resolve?
Hey there! Thanks for reporting. I'll need some activity logs as I'm unable to reproduce this issue on my side. If you can provide them, that would be swell. I'll direct message you.

Hi there,
This issue should now be resolved in the latest update. Please let me know if you continue to see it.Regards,

Hi @DamionGans
Thanks for reporting this. Are you able to direct message me more information regarding this problem?
Screenshots depicting the problem are useful, as well as activity logs from your mobile device. To generate an activity logs open Evernote on Mobile > Settings > Support > Activity log.
Thanks!

Hi folks,
Drag and drop on mobile devices is not implemented completely. You can only drag and drop tasks in the Notes tab inside your task drawer.

10.13.1 with a fix to reduce the occurrence of "view only" to your notes is out today. If you haven't received the update yet, sit tight as it's coming soon to your device. Alternatively you can search for Evernote in the app store and update it manually.

Thanks for reporting. This is a known issue and we have an open ticket about it. In the meantime, MessageEase's latest update located in the link below avoids the crash.

This doesn’t work. My web version doesn’t offer home. You know that, right?
You can also use the new Evernote Desktop app to accomplish this if your web client doesn't offer Home yet. You can get it at evernote.com/download

I understand the frustration and apologize this is taking longer than expected. I also apologize my vagueness in last update. What I can say is that we've fixed the issue, and that the app is going through a final round of testing and release approval before we ship to everyone. Most of this is under our control, but some of it is reliant in how fast app stores can approve our submission.
There are workarounds to ensure the app is working in the meantime, so I suggest to open a ticket with support if possible.
Rest assured we are trying to get this update out the door quickly so that everyone here has the app working as expected.
