Thanks, PinkE. But for some reason, it syncs perfectly with Mobile and online. So, if online are the documents are up to date, why do not update the online files? That is a puzzle. I would be glad to update the Sonoma, if I did not have to pay for dozens and dozens of apps that I purchased lifetime licenses for their new updated subscriptions.

After some trials, I have the following issues:

1. If I create a new Note on one of the computers (High Sierra) it synchronizes with the mobile EN, but it does not with the second Mac Sonoma. The note is missing. If I do some modifications inside each note on High Sierra or rename the Note title it does synchronize.

So a new Notebook and a new note do not get synchronized with the second Mac, it does online and Mobile.

Any solution? Thanks.

How do I sync Evernonet to 2 Macs? I have the main Mac and it synching online OK. But after installing the same latest version on the second Mac Sonoma, and after login it does not sync to the new Mac. The new Notebooks are missing, which I created before installing the EN to a new machine. What did I do wrong? Maybe I should reinstall the EN altogether because it was a cloned of the High Sierra. If you have TimeMachine, yes.  But the problem is that as soon as you start using the previous one it will update automatically to the newest one, unless you go offline.

First of all do not like the automatic updates, without giving me an option yes or no. Any app that I am using his giving me an option, and I like it because I never update any apps until it's been tested and out for a while. So here are my issues.

1. I do not like the white color on the left side, I prefer black, easier to work with.

2. Many notes were formatted in a weird way including numbering. Thousand of notes have no spaces between the numbers and the wording. How do I fix it? I tried to go back to a previous version using the time machine, but the next day it happened again because it was updated automatically.

3. Back up as an HTML with an attachment, the links in the HTML files do not work. So the HML is useless.

I have not checked any other issues, hopefully, they will be fixed, and the next updates will have an option YES or NO!

My latest update is 10.78.2, and I am running OS 10.13.6, High Sierra. Will it still work after March 24, 2024?

Also, the last update screwed up, the formatting of many notes, including numbering. In addition, the left side went white, instead of the dark color, which was much better for viewing. Is there a way to go back to dark?
 

This  statement sounds funny: "We haven’t built this feature into the new Evernote app."  The company built 1,000 new features but missed this one. LOL. I still love Evernote, and I have no idea how long it will be compatible with an older OS, as no manual update is available, unfortunately. Therefore I will be discontinuing my subscription very soon, unless the auto-update will be taken off from the app

I tried ON many years ago and was not impressed and that is one of the reasons I was still with EN. I don't think there is an Application that came close to EN, but... I may have to say farewell sooner or later.

hanks, PinkE. I was thinking about the web client, but I am personally not fond of it. I prefer the Mac App. I am not familiar with Shottr, but I have been using Snagit for years. I The ScannerPro but never used it as I like Scannable a lot. May I ask why do you think ON is gruesome? It's hard to believe that Microsoft would design something bad. They have million users.

So no matter how much I like Evernote for using Skitch, Scannable, and search functions, which I always thought they were great, I need to prepare myself to find another application, in case EN no longer functions on my OS, HS. One note is one alternative. Very sad to let EN go as I will have no choice.

I asked for a discount yesterday and it was denied this morning. On one hand, the $129 is not that big of a deal, but my main concern is about Evernote not being compatible with High Sierra, OS 10.13.6. later on. I already see that the latest EN, is working much slower, and sometimes I get the spinning clock and nothing happens. I am lucky that its still works, so I am using the browser. :o(

Is there a way to go back to the previous EN with popping-up messages to update?

P.S. My work will not allow updating even to Monterey.

Thanks agsteele.  What is a saved Card? What are the additional features of Personal? The reason I am asking is that I do not want to lose anything. I store many Application tips and short tutorials like Photoshop, FCP, AE and others.

I received an email that "Your account has been transitioned from Plus to Personal" The new price is $129.99 which is a $85 increase. I hardly upload or use Evernote. Only as a data, no appointments, no reminders, no recording. Any suggestion, to stay on as it was before? I have been an Evernote user for over 10 years. Thanks.

I hope EN developers, would get a message from users and implement to having an option to update or not to.

The last update I did not get any buttons or notifications. I did see a pop-up message, congratulations your EN was updated to the latest 10.60. "o(

Yesterday Evernote was updated to the latest 10.60 automatically, without even asking yes or no. Did anyone find out how to stop the auto-update? I am concern that the next update will not be compatible with my OS as I am still on 10.13.6, and 10.60 is still OK , TG.

Thanks, PinkE! You saved me time to search for a solution. I used to use Skitch every day for taking a picture and sending a link if forms do not support an attachment.

It was very convenient. Sop now I would need to create extra steps, take a photo, download to a desktop, scan it with Skitch and create a link.

BTW, I asked this Q today, that is it safe to update Evernote iPhone, because iOS 16, does not show an update to Evernote, like the IOA normally does with other apps.

After unsuccessful login using Skitch, I noticed that in the Apple Application store, it shows i need to update Evernote. Why it does not update it through the general application updates like I normally do with all other my other apps?

Is it safe to update? It shows I need to pay, but I already have a subscription through my desktop app. Do I need to subscribe the using mobile app?

Another question, can I still use Evernote on my latest iPhone and the latest iOS? What about the browser and online? I can still live with that.
