I've deleted a note accidentally--how do I get it back?

I accidentally deleted all of my notes yesterday (I'm not even sure how). When I check my notebook trash today, per all of the advice I've read here and in the support documents, it is empty. I did not knowingly empty the trash. Is there any other way i can restore all of the notes?
