  1. Zapier has a "Formatter" that will take an evernote and format the markdown. I have it set up so a new note in a notebook is formatted by zappier from markdown to HTML and then added as a new post on my wordpress blog. Works awesome. Will not solve everyones markdown problems, but it's one solution.
  2. tell application "Evernote" activate set currentNote to selection set currentNotes to selection repeat with currentNote in currentNotes assign tag "Read" to currentNote move currentNote to notebook "Articles" end repeat end tell Thanks for the help! Here is what I came up with...Seems to work pretty good.
  3. tell application "Evernote" activate assign tag "Read" to currentNote move currentNote to notebook "Articles" end tell I get the attached error. Do I need to use Set to set currentNote to something? I've looked at other applescript and do not see people setting variables. Also does anyone know how to set this to a hot key (say F1)? Thanks, Chris
  4. Work perfect, thank you! One side note is that it does not work when the note is expanded in its own window. Further development could include some logic for both modes. Thanks for all your help!
  5. Got it to work (mostly). Turns out the program that Autohotkey has to tell you the relative cursor location tells you the position from the "Assign Tag" box, but the program wants it relative from the top of the Evernote window. I had to put screenshots into Photoshop to see what the X,Y coordinates are. Now it works except I still need to left click or hit enter in the move to notebook window. A huge improvement from before. Would be really awesome if this was built into Evernote and consistent across my Mac and PC. #NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases. #Warn ; Enable warnings to assist with detecting common errors. 6. Thanks for the help. I tried Autohotkey but I cannot seem to reliably get it to click the buttons... Here is what I have but I have to manually click the "move" button at the end of the script. The send tab, send {enter} do not work there. I tried ControlClick, MouseClick but can't seem to get those commands to work. Also it does not add the Read tag sometimes. #NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases. #Warn ; Enable warnings to assist with detecting common errors. 7. In the Lightroom photo editing software you can right click, copy and paste edits from one picture to another (for example contrast, etc). It would be great if we could do this in Evernote to apply the tags and notebooks from one note to another.
  8. I would like to be able to quick format a note using a hot key. For instance, I would like to be able to tag a note "read" and move it to the "Articles" notebook with one keystroke. Is there an easy way to currently do this with a single keystroke?
  9. It would be nice for Scannable to have a switch that would prompt you to rename the file name prior to sharing the document. The app could still auto name the document with the name highlighted so if you started typing, it would replace the auto name.
  10. +1 - I currently have the app add the "scannable" tag, then I have to go back in and manually tag things.
