  1. They do advertise handwriting support - and have ever since they bought Penultimate (which I also did, but for much less )
  2. Every so often I pop back to see if Evernote has done anything to evolve it's handwriting support - and every couple of years I'm disappointed again. I was a paid Penultimate user, and Evernote user, when Evernote bought that product in 2012. I was so excited that these products would merge and evolve together to provide a one stop shop for notetaking on an iPad. But alas, Penultimate has withered on the vine of zero development for over 10 years now. Certainly can't claim to be "The best digital handwriting on iPad" - as it's app description states. Thus we're left with workarounds, importing and exporting notes to use what should be such a natural fit. What disappoints me the most is seeing all the development work that has gone into creating and adding tasks, not that this is a bad thing - but not something I was looking for from a premium note taking app. I'm hanging in there as an Evernote user for now - but am on the cusp of moving to OneNote, which I pay for anyway with an MS subscription. Not expecting any change after 10 years, just wanted to express my feelings - perhaps as part of the grieving process of leaving.
  3. Yippee - so nice to have this functionality back (well, mostly back - still have to click on title) but this is much better for me. Hope this doesn't impact those who got used to this feature not being there.
  4. Thanks Don Dz - have upvoted (is that really a word?).
  5. Please, please bring this back as an option. I don't need todos in Evernote (but appreciate those who might) - but taking away functionality rather than making it optional is infuriating.
  6. Thanks Gazumped. Memo to Evernote: it's 2019 already. There are a world of users outside of the US who other software products have been supporting with dictionaries for many, many years. Sad to see another reason Evernote is falling behind the competition. What this says to me as a user is that Evernote don't care about me. I'm not saying this tolik be grumpy, although I feel it, I"m saying it as I've been a long, longtime user of this product & would really like it to survive. But, it seems more and more that Evernote is pushing me away. first the pricing for small users has jumped significantly (more significant if there's an OS exchange rate), and now this confirmation that there is still no English variant outside of US being catered for.
  7. I don't see any way to get Aus English set as the language, or even UK English - only option is US English. Have I missed a step in my installation? Anyone know how to add this?
