    I received a shared note to an email address that was not yet connected to Evernote. I was able to follow the link in that email, sign in to my Evernote account, and then it prompted me to connect that email address to my account. So maybe the feature does exist, but there's no obvious place to set it up?

    The lack of this feature is my biggest frustration with Evernote.
