  1. I did the same 6 months ago and had the same experience. The experience is so much better running legacy on both my Mini M1 and Intel i9 macbook pro 16.
  2. In case others were not aware, the old native Intel Evernote works quite well on M1. I've been running it until a native release comes out or I find an alternative. It's fast, uses few resources, and never crashes. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote
  3. @Fred V. I also 'loved' Evernote so switched back to Evernote Legacy which works much better on M1. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote
  4. I have been a paid heavy Evernote user for years. I saw the company try to become much more than a great note taking application and the eventual change in leadership. Anyway, I loved the previous version. Bought an M1 8 GB and literally to return it as individual evernote helper renderers were between 100s MB to over 2 GB each. This is reproducible. It's way worse than chrome or Microsoft. If it doesn't improve soon. I'll migrate to something else. Thanks for suggestion to use iOS. Any other thoughts?
