About Chris_Lee

  1. Yeah, while I'm frustrated, I don't really blame Evernote for not supporting 9 year old software. It's pretty common for healthcare companies to settle on tried and true technology and only replace when they have to. In some cases that approach actually limits risk.....which is why healthcare providers still use fax machines instead of e-mail when it comes to Protected Health Information.
  2. I assume you are referring to going to the Trust Center in Outlook and re-enabling the Outlook plug-in. My experience is that re-enabling the plug-in does not work with newer versions of Evernote and Outlook 2007. Can you let us know which version of Outlook you are using? To the best of my knowledge, there is no cure for Outlook 2007 except to roll back Evernote to an old version......... I'd really like to be wrong though.
  3. Yeah, it's been a really frustrating. Our hospital system is also standardized on Outlook 2007 and the Outlook clipper in the latest versions of Evernote won't work. I pay for the premium service and using Evernote with Outlook is my primary use for that premium service, so it's doubly frustrating. I long ago gave up looking for solutions, rolled Evernote back to version, and turned updates off. If you can tolerate using an old version, it works perfectly well......at least for the time being.
  4. I have the exact same issue as you've described. I'm using Windows 8.1 and our company is standardized on Outlook 2007 (so no, I can't update). I have tried to restart the disabled add-in, but to no avail secondary to the runtime error. I have also completely installed Evernote, rebooted, and done a fresh install. Also, to no avail. Under no circumstances does the clipper button appear in Outlook since the most recent Evernote update. This is a major problem for my workflow.
  5. Yes, I've submitted a bug report and hope that others do too. This is a major functionality issue.
  6. The Evernote button doesn't display for me in Outlook either. I see that some above are reporting the button being grayed out. For me, the clipper isn't loading at all, including displaying a button.
  7. I updated to Evernote for Windows version (255837) Public on Friday, 6/5/15. I have been using the Evernote clipper in Outlook 2007 on a Windows 8.1 machine. I cannot update to a newer version of Outlook because our company is standardized on this version. After updating Evernote, the Outlook clipper no longer loads. When I to COMM add-ins and try to activate the clipper it just shows a runtime error. I have completely uninstalled Evernote, rebooted, and reinstalled but without success. My only work around at this time is to forward items to the Evernote uploader e-mail address whic
