  1. Hi, OP back here three years later. The Spotlight index is working for me under El Capitan. However, I see all my notes duplicated. For instance, one of them displays a copy called p540.enspot (all of them follow this convention, with p followed by a three digit number and the .enspot extension). What's going on this time?
  2. Hi, I love the Today widget. However, I think it lacks one of the most used options —at least in my case—, i.e. a new voice memo option. I'd definitely want to see a voice memo icon next to document, photos and the rest!
  3. Hi, I followed the instructions that you provided earlier (I didn't read your update in time). I removed Evernote (which was originally installed via the App Store), then installed it again using the image available on the website. Then I rebuilt the Spotlight database using the method published earlier. Not sure if removing Evernote in first place was absolutely necessary though, but now it works as it should. Thank you.
  4. It used to be that when I searched something in Spotlight, the results included my Evernote notes. That's no longer the case, at least using the latest release of Yosemite and Evernote. Is this an acknowledged bug in Evernote, something on the Apple side or just me?
  5. Thanks. However, I noticed that there was an update just a few days ago, and I'm not sure if the problem that you mention happened to me before or after that date. The other problem, related to the Evernote helper not starting after I reboot my computer, is still there though. Cheers.
  6. I don't know what's going on with the Evernote helper, honestly. Not only I had the problem described in the first post of this thread, but also I've lost some important information because the Evernote helper doesn't seem to save what I've written in my default notebook. And that seems like a very serious issue. Do the Evernote crew really pretend that we trust their app when our information is lost? And they want us to upgrade to a premium account just so we can contact the staff and tell them about all these bugs? HAHA.
  7. I experienced exactly the same problem a few days ago—and I lost some very important information. It's a shame that nobody has said anything on this. Even worse is the fact that we can't contact the Evernote staff directly, because we don't have a premium account. I guess that means we can't trust Evernote as a secure way of saving our files and notes. FWIW, this happened on my iMac (OS X 10.9.5). However, on my MacBook (which is using the same version of OS X) the Evernote helper doesn't even start after I reboot my computer. I have to open Evernote and manually activate that option in the Preference menu every time!
