Allow to skip home screen and give optional recent menu
Sayre Ambrosio replied to crawfordpatterson's question in General Feature Requests
@CVJ I'm not finding anything other than the tooltip/help bubbles issue that has a remedy to it. I did find quite a few others though that are having the same issue you are. I tagged an EN developer in a comment and will report back anything I hear when I hear it. -
Allow to skip home screen and give optional recent menu
Sayre Ambrosio replied to crawfordpatterson's question in General Feature Requests
Gotcha. That's definitely different than what I ran into. I'll have a look around the forums and see if I can find a solution to this and report back. -
@Shane D. Is there anyone on the team that could elaborate on this? I just recently discovered it as well and have no clue what it does. I tried messing with it and decided to ignore it for now because it doesn't seem to have any pertinent use at the moment.

New Evernote performance on Macs
Sayre Ambrosio replied to Notetakr's topic in Evernote General Discussions
All versions are running great on our Macs. 2011 iMac 2017 iMac 2017 MBP -
I think you’re right on this one. The only color thing I remember was on windows and it was the ability to have different color notebooks.

@gbarry Love the fact that the publishing came back to the business side of things. However, for one person or small teams it doesn't help in some cases. I know it's been mentioned in some of my circles that the desire to publish public facing is a big one. I routinely work with other authors on projects and currently have to put my shared notebook for them in my personal account because of the limit of public publishing on EN Business. Not all who I work with want to or are willing to sign up for an account just to share a notebook, especially if it's just a resource notebook that I make available to multiple people so they can grab things as they need them. There's been a few times in the past where I have been this close to getting someone to sign up for a business account, but they also need the public facing notebooks and when they realized they couldn't do that, they went with another product. Feedback from those potential customers was to either bring public facing notebooks to Business or Spaces to Premium accounts. (Just food for thought).

Evernote for iOS version 10.7 Release notes
Sayre Ambrosio replied to Shane D.'s topic in Release Notes (iOS)
Here is the link to the Public Beta threads. https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/forum/710-public-betas/ I would start there. If you are in the Early Access Program you'll need to contact @Shane D. for access. They are different programs. If you are wanting to test the apps and haven't signed up yet, you can do so here. https://evernote.com/earlyaccess -

This thread is for the production version of the iOS thread, so you should be able to just download it from the App Store. -

Add to MacOS Share Menu
Sayre Ambrosio replied to JenLG's question in Evernote for Mac Requests (Versions 7.14 and under)
It's been available for years (I believe) with the old app, which is now the legacy app if I'm thinking of the right thing. If you have the legacy app installed you should still see it as an option. Not sure when or if it's coming to v10. -
While you can't have more than one Google Drive account tied to an account at a time on a normal premium account, you can get around that if you have a business account (which I know isn't feasible for a lot of people). I have my premium account tied to my personal Google Drive account and my business account is tied to my business Google Drive account. If you have business that would be your work around. If you don't, make sure to upvote any posts that request more than one tied to a personal account or the ability to switch. The only way for EN to know a feature is wanted is if we vote it up. Employees do monitor the forums and do take notice of things like that.

The legacy version available currently is the same as it would have been prior to you trying the newer v10 app. It may be sluggish if you have instances of the newer version still hogging space though. I'm on a Mac so I can't confirm for sure on Windows, but I know that when I went back to legacy for a bit, I had to find all the Evernote related items on my hard drive and delete them. I had ended up with a double use of space. Once I did that, it sped up and was fine. Might be the same issue on Windows.

You want to make sure you’re logged into your account and then go to account info and scroll down I think it’s towards the bottom and it will say gift Evernote premium. Click on that link and it should walk you through the steps to do so. -
CATASTROPHIC, SLOW and IMPRODUCTIVE update!
Sayre Ambrosio replied to MentalCompiler's topic in Evernote General Discussions
Just wanted to reiterate that this is a user focus forum. There are Evernote employees here and you can tell who they are by looking at the badge on their avatar. It will say employee. I get the frustration but yelling at fellow users isn’t going to get you anywhere other than putting them off of trying to help you if they can. -
HOW DO I GET BACK TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION????
Sayre Ambrosio replied to groeder's topic in Evernote General Discussions
Are you trying to use the Sketch feature in the iOS app? If you are you don't have to turn of scribble. You just have to start a new Sketch note or insert a sketch once in the app. Also check to see your pen that you have selected. The Apple tool palette will sometimes default to the Apple scribble feature in certain apps and you have to switch it to the regular pen. -
Publish/Share Notebook Question
Sayre Ambrosio replied to LAQ's topic in Evernote General Discussions
Good point. They have mentioned in the past that they were thinking of bringing it to the business side, so hopefully it does make it over for sure. -
Bad update

I agree. Just saying it might help.
