This won't make it into my main system I don't think, but I do like what he has done. Just using it this morning I found a group of random things that I could purge, which I probably wouldn't have found any time soon by digging through all my notes.

First, I AM NOT EMPLOYED by Evernote. Just a fellow user letting you know what I think. Evernote requests this in order to allow you to use all the features. I can't tell you exactly what items it enabled as I didn't think twice about it when I installed it so I really didn't look. I do know that it is legitimate though. Here's an article that explains why this pops up and what it means. I haven't seen any issues with this particular thing recently over on Directly. I have however just come across one that mentioned that in trying to revoke a device they have an iPhone listed and they don't own an iPhone.

Good to know. Thanks. So if this comes up on Directly, I can let them know it's being actively investigated. Should I point them to this thread to keep an eye on it or there a better one?

For those of you that are having this issue did you recently update to iOS 12? I have run into a verification issue on other sites and I think that's what caused it. @Scott T. could this be the culprit here?

From what I understand, this is a bug that the team is aware of and they are working on a fix. In the meantime, try turning off Context in the settings. This seems to have worked to fix it if you are dealing with the issue. I also recommend a complete close out of the app after turning off the feature and then going back into the app.

If you are like me and like to have the latest features as soon as they come out (update when you want to) I recommend uninstalling the app store version and doing a direct download from the website https://www.evernote.com/download The app store can get behind due to the approval process with Apple. Plus if you like to run betas you can sign up through your settings on the direct download version.

@DTLow is the one who originally posted the shortcuts scripting. ? that’s who you want to ask. I’m still learning myself.

Now this is scripting that I can do! I loved the Workflow app before Apple bought it and look forward to playing with it. Thank you for sharing the screenshots.

I second this if you are intent on leaving Evernote.

Do you happen to use something like Text Expander? That's what I use when I need the date and time entered on my iPhone. On my iPad I use the external keyboard like @DTLow

If I need a note in word format I print to PDF and then export the PDF to word. I’m on a Mac so it’s simple. Not sure if you’re on windows.

This is the first time I have heard of Nimbus. Got to say that I'm surprised it made it to the App Store with being so similar to Evernote.

That is interesting. I am surprised they did any sort of integration since they push using OneNote in Teams. I'm not using it, but hopefully someone gets back to you on what they think.

I do the same thing when I want some color. I just color the cell and then type into it.

This is very similar to the ideas I was going to send you. ? so similar that I don’t need to send you what I was putting together.

With the new Mac OS coming out Adobe isn't required as they have made the Preview app quite a bit better to handle PDF viewing and editing.

Penultimate has this option.

As @gazumped stated this is not an Evernote product. There is nothing that Evernote can do in regards to this product not working. I recommend reaching out to the developer of the app and see if they can walk you through the issues you are having. Their email is on their website. I have fielded more questions from friends, family, and clients about the loss of presentation mode on iOS than anything else since the update. A large part of the people that I have spoken with do not have access to an Apple TV in the situations that they were using this so mirroring is not an option. If presentation mode is not coming back may I suggest a "remote" feature like they have in Keynote and other programs out there where you can sync your phone as a remote while presenting and you don't have to keep going back to a computer and clicking a button to change slide/pages in a presentation. That can really break your momentum.

I use 3D Touch on my iPhone quite a bit and would love it if there was a way to define templates inside EN and then have it pop up as an option when using that feature. Upvoted.

It has been forever since it was updated. I have no clue as to why some are able to use it and some aren't. Just gonna consider myself lucky on this one and hope they get it worked out for those who need it sooner rather than later. I wish I had more to offer on the subject but I'm not technical enough to know what might be causing it.
