I am already a premium user! This was a sensible feature request to Evernote - many apps have the ability to set confirm delete, and it wouldnt be hard for them to include it. Thanks for your reply though.

An example today was that I entered a search term; search term was not right, so I hit the backspace key, and deleted a note, not the search term character.....

PLEASE PLEASE Evernote, add an option to confirm deletions. On a Mac it's so easy to hit the backspace key and bingo you deleted a note, possibly without knowing it. Given that pretty much every note I make is important, I would not be irritated by the need to confirm deletion, and one could always turn the feature off.......
