I've also raised a ticket. From the questions asked in response, EN appear to be surprised and unaware of the issue!

Looks like a support call is needed. I uninstalled with revo, then re-installed after restart and I still have the same issue. I have the same issue on my desktop, laptop & windows tablet. I did the same process on all 3 - to be sure; to be sure; to be sure; and issue remains.

I use EN for family history research where I clip information into EN from the web, using EN's magnificent web clipper of course, as well as dragging and dropping files. I then analyse and evaluate the information before copying it into my family history programme. The information can be jpg, pdf files or text from the note. At present, the only way I can transfer information to my family history programme is to use the legacy version of EN for this transfer process. I certainly hope EN resolve this issue as soon as possible. The rest of the new version seems to work reasonably, with a swag of new features to boot.

I'm still having issues with copying/dragging file attachments out of EN. The release note for a recent update stated this had been resolved. a. If I drag a jpg file from EN to MS Word (2016) it leaves a blank square where the file should be. b. If I <ctrl c> in EN then <ctrl v> in word same situation c. If I <mouse right click> and <copy> in EN then <mouse right click> and <paste> in word it appears to work ok. d. In other windows programmes, I can't Copy out of EN at all. As a work-around, I am still using legacy EN. I was led to believe this had been fixed in a recent update. Has this issue been resolved?????

I use Evernote extensively for family research. Facts, documents, pictures etc are web clipped or dragged and dropped from windows explorer into notes. This data is then curated and categorised. I then update my family history software with this information, including copies of documents and pictures, normally by dragging the media from Evernote and dropping it into the family history software. Over the last couple of updates of Evernote, I have NOT been able to drag & drop media from Evernote. I have reloaded Evernote from scratch - same issue I tried to drag and drop a picture into windows Paint from EN, as a test for possible compatibility issues with my FH software - same issue I tried to drag and drop a picture into Microsoft Word from EN, as a test for possible compatibility issues with my FH software - same issue I dragged and dropped a picture from Evernote to the desktop - desktop file created successfully. I was able to drag & drop media from the desktop to my FH software successfully. Is there a configuration somewhere that I have missed, or is there an issue with these later versions of EN? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated as this issue is messing with my research; analyse and document process. Thanks Malcolm Kingston.

Windows version 6.16.1 build 1465 - Checked that this was the latest version (only downloaded yesterday) and en says it is the latest & greatest. Forum posts seem to suggest that 6.22 is available so some of my comments may be out of date. General: response is very slow - opening stacks; changing notes Note Editor the check lists are a fantastic addition; very few fonts, noticed this in the web version as well very slow to open notes; first line of note used to default as title if the title was blank, a handy feature that needs to be re-implemented; create a note from a template that contains a number of tables and the characters "&nbsp" are inserted into each blank cell and then intermittently throughout the note; as an aside, it would be convenient to be able to save templates with an attachment.
