    ANSWER: Move to MS OneNote. Free. Protect notes. Easy to use. Clean interface.

    I switched to OneNote in the end. Usually not a Microsoft fan (being mostly a Mac user) but they have done an exceptional job on OneNote. If you use it with OneDrive you can get up to 30GB free cloud storage too and no need to worry about taking up space and being charged (for going over) Evernote's limited space. Password protection on sections too. But anyway, thats's a different discussion.

    +1 Amazed this isn't an option. Even Microsoft OneNote has it.
