  1. I have a saved search (one of many); initially I used it and was performing actions on the resulting notes and it crashed. I reopened and just selecting that search crashes it. Then I went into a notebook and worked with notes, and it just crashed. I think I was deleting a note. This began immediately after installing beta 2. I don't think it is my system.
  2. Update--it is crashing in multiple cases. I'll try the usual things, like restart my pc, reinstall, etc.
  3. I installed it today. Reported a problem in the thread on this version. I'll let you know on performance.
  4. I installed this beta today. I have a saved search that crashes the Windows client repeatedly. I'm sending logs to support.
  5. Somehow I missed that beta 2 was out. I'll download/install and revert with update. Thank you!
  6. Windows 6.8.1.5832 As noted in my earlier post, I see significant performance issues with this release. Since installing, I noticed very sluggish performance from my PC although the resources weren't being maxed out (e.g. the "Not Responding" when Disk is at 100%). I tried shutting down various apps and memory was only around 60%. Then I realized that EN was running in the background (I think that has to do with the sync settings). I killed it in Task Manager and bingo, my PC is fast again. So this is a significant problem for me.
  7. I thought this was fixed, but I just found a corrupted note AND the history is corrupted, so there is no simple fix. Windows client version 6.8.1.5832 I'm going to submit a ticket, but thought it might be of interest to others here.
  8. Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't disappear without warning. If it's a Windows thing, who knows. The clock in the lower right of my taskbar is still unreadable from several updates ago, the scroll inactive window hasn't worked since the anniversary update, etc.....
  9. Just FYI, this worked for me in Windows client for a long time. My main use case was to create a table of contents note, open that note on its own, then click links, carry out some work, then use back to get back to my list. Not sure if there is anything special about that workflow.
  10. Installed 6.8.1.5832 Prerelease yesterday; today the "Not Responding" with Disk at 100% (in Task Manager) seems back with a vengeance. Could be subjective on my part, but it seems like performance has regressed.
  11. If you are using a desktop version try opening both notes (double click them from the list) and see if that allows the behavior you want.
  12. Have you checked the memory available on your iOS device? I'm sure it is > the note size, but I had an issue before where clipping notes would not complete because I was hitting a memory issue on my iPad. Probably not your case, but thought I would ask.
  13. I'm running Evernote 8.3.356604 in iOS 11.0.1 on an iPhone 6S and am not seeing these issues. Are ou seeing sync issues? There is an update to the post I made earlier: "Issue 3: Sync gets stuck on iOS device. Tried several things noted by support, nothing worked, including resintalling." Evernote is aware of this and a temporary work around is turn off auto lock (Settings --> Display & Brightness -->Auto-Lock-->Never) then leave EN open for hours and it syncs. Not sure if this is related to what you are seeing.
  14. I "may" have seen this, but not often at all. I agree it might be iOS 11. I was at Apple this weekend and there were people talking to service about issues having to tap some things twice, etc.
  15. I was not aware it was fixed. It is hard to duplicate but I have not seen it recently. Thanks for the update.
  16. Just a brief update: Item 1 is acknowledged by EN support. No timeline on a fix yet. It's benign in that you can just delete the 2nd copy. Item 2 is acknowledged by EN support and I'm told it is one of the highest priority issues to fix. Item 3 is acknowledged by EN support and they are working on a fix, hoping in next release or one after that. There is a workaround: Clear the Evernote cache from 'Account' > 'Support' > 'Clear Cache'. Then, go to iOS Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock > Set to 'Never' Plug your iPhone into its charger Let Evernote sit open for a few hours
  17. Generally I post in the Windows area, as that is my main platform. However, the issues with 8.3 (and earlier for some issues) are hobbling me. I often use my iPhone and/or iPad to review new content and save to EN, such as clipping from the mobile browser or saving (pdfs) to EN etc. This allows me to clean out my EN inbox whenever I have time. There are 3 issues for me, and I know EN tech is aware of all, but wanted to post here mainly to get perspective--have heavy iOS users found newer versions especially bad? Issue 1: Reported above--duplication of notes. I found this happens with Safari but not Chrome on iOS. For me, it occurs when: (1) Open a note on my iOS device. Typically a newsletter from a trade website which I'm directing into my default notebook. Click a link in that note which opens Safari. Clip content and save, note is duplicated. I found that if I copy the link to Chrome on my iOS device, then clip, notes are NOT duplicates. So I think it is a Safari-EN issue. Issue 2: Notes getting content overwritten by other notes. This is still an issue, and very hard to reproduce. For me, I don't share notebooks at present, but if I did this would cause me to panic, as it might share content I didn't want to share. Issue 3: Sync gets stuck on iOS device. Tried several things noted by support, nothing worked, including resintalling. Stumbled into "clear Cache" on the support page in the account area on iOS EN. This fixed it, but only teporarily. My iPhone stopped syncing again. So far, the clear Cache doesn't fix that; reinstalled and waiting for sync to complete. This is the issue that is killing me, as I can't review notes that I cannot see as they are not synced. I'd welcome any perspective, but this has been quite a time waster over the last couple of months.
  18. This is s known problem in Windows desktop version. Select the info and choose note history. Look at "current version ". If you can see the content there you ca copy paste it to the note.
  19. Unfortunately, the same result. It is probably one of those "just this note has issues" things. If I find a way to reproduce it, I'll update.
  20. Not sure if this has been reported. I'm currently 6.6.3.5484 (30584) Prerelease Saved search is returning results from notebooks outside the scope See annotated screen capture
  21. I shut down Evernote and terminated all background processes, restarted, no change. I removed the clipper extension from chrome, restarted chrome, reinstalled clipper, no change. I removed clipper, cleared cache/cookies, restarted chrome, reinstalled clipper, no change.
  22. Yah--I agree it is support Issuu. Will raise with them. Just wanted feedback first.
  23. I can't seem to find much on this topic, so I apologize if this has been addressed in recent versions. I run in Windows 10 on a lenovo laptop. I'm using 6.6.3.5484 (305494) Prerelease. When I clip a page from the web, frequently it is at total mess. I'm seeing cases where images are lost, formatting might get squashed into one column at the left, links aren't visible--as I said-a total mess. I tried clipping "Article"--bad; I tried clipping "Full page"--bad; I tried clipping "selection" after highlighting--bad. I can use "Simplified article" but I see a lot of cases where that misses content. Any tips here? Two side by side (note, page) screen captures attached.
