I'm not a power user and haven't looked through all the feature differences. But the new Evernote doesn't even show up as an *option* in my Mac's "Share" menu. I'm an academic and use Evernote to upload lots of pdfs of books and articles so I can use Evernote as a kind of Google through my own academic library. It's basically useless to me without the ability to conveniently upload pdfs into notes.
I appreciated the link to the "Legacy" version. As soon as I installed that, the Legacy version popped back up in my share menus. So, that seems to be the only workaround for me. I hope they will put the new Evernote into the Mac share menu at some point. Seems like such an obvious thing.
