  1. I notice this forum is quiet. Perhaps everyone is having the improved experience that I'm having? I have not had the blank screen issue for at least two months I adopted the habit of manually syncing on my iPhone and iPad when I'm not going to be using it for a while. I use File / Quit Evernote on my WIN10 PC instead of the "X" in the upper right corner. I have accepted every update within a day or two of being prompted. And perhaps most importantly ..... I upgraded to a much faster PC. The old one had run out of memory. Task switching was painfully slow. And opening a new task like File Manager, Word, Excel, etc. was unbearable.
  2. The post Dave I S made has prompted me to post about some change of behavior in Evernote in the last 48 hours. I've been working around all the issues by using File-Quit and by not leaving it running while I leave the PC unattended for long periods of time (like overnight or when I put it to sleep). I also manually sync on my iPhone and iPad. That limited the blank windows occurrences to maybe 1% of the time I started Evernote. In the last 48 hours: Evernote blanked out after being left alone for less than an hour. Yesterday and today, after waking from overnight hibernation Evernote displayed blank windows even though I had used File-Quit and I checked for Evernote processes running before I started it. (There is always an Evernote Clipper process running but I haven't needed to kill that one in the past.) Today, Evernote on my PC informed me that I had two duplicate copies of a notebook (for a total of three). One duplicate was 48 minutes old, one an hour old, and one from yesterday. As far as I could tell they were all identical. This is the first sync issue I've had in months. I haven't updated Evernote in at least a month. Has something changed on the back end? I'm running on a Windows 10 Home on a HP PC, Version 2004, OS Build 19041.746 Evernote is: v 10.5.7 build 2171 public Editor: v114.1.14753 Service: v1.25.2
  3. I'm running 10.3.7 on Win 10 PC. I've been using v 10+ for several days. No issues until this morning. I found this thread and ..... I killed all Evernote processes and sub-processes, restarted it, and now I can see and edit the notes. One thing to note is that when I installed v10 it installed into my appdata\local folders. The previous version is still in C:\Program Files (x86)\Evernote\EvernoteProgramfiles. THAT previous version works fine.
