About gladykov

  1. Hi, I noticed that when I do not have 100 MB internal free memory, I got error "Insufficient device memory space" and my Evernote will not synch. All I got is around 20 notes total and offline search turned off So this is feels like bad design of code. Steps to reproduce: 0. Install Evernote 1. Have less that 100 MB internal memory free 3. Try to synch all notes Result: Error "Insufficient device memory space" Why it is bad? Still some people have older phones will less internal memory. Other (especially power users) have filled most of internal memory with apps. Solution: - first calculate approximately needed space for current number / length of notes and check if offline search is turned off / on - then decide if synch should be blocked and error shown Other solution: - allow to override this setting and force sync, no matter how many free space left - allow moving cache / DB to SD and use SD space Env: Sony Sk17i ICS 4.0.4 Evernote 7.1.4
  2. This app shares content with Evernote and other apps properly - during share action whole email string is sent to Evernote and other apps. This looks like a bug in Evernote engine, witch parses email string, takes only domain name, and tries to load a web page. As I understand such functionality is useful, when someone is sharing URL to a web page. But when it comes to email address expected behavior is different. If possible, please ping Evernote staff about this issue, as it may cause data loss, so it is rather P2 bug.
  3. Because of this bug, I lost important email address - at least I memorized it Steps to reproduce: 1. Open plain text notepad (ex. Notepad: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.andrey.notepad&hl=pl ) 2. Create new note with only email address: "ar@gmail.com" 3. Share new note to Evernote from inside Notepad app Result: In Evernote, Gmail login page is saved as full article: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s273/nl/39049572/c97da7af-1be5-4edf-8297-a1baab8cf217 Expected: In Evernote, email address is saved as normal note This seems to affect all plain text apps, as this bug occured first, when I was using widget for fast typing. From it, I wanted to share to evernote, and I discovered this bug. Env: Android 4.0.4 Evernote 6.3.2.2
