  1. I do not understand Evernote not providing a method of securing the desktop application. Yes windows provides a logon to access the system, however if you are working on a domain then IT staff can get access to any machine and any account, which is understandable. BUT if you install your own version of evernote then you do not want the possibility of IT Admins accessing your personal Notes. Ironically you can set a pin code on portable devices (phones, tablets, etc) that are "Personal" and also have varying degrees of security built so security here is not really needed in my opinion.
