Just to be clear -- you need to improve your quality assurance process in your software release lifecycle. This feels to me an obvious data-losing bug, which should have been picked up even with causal regression testing. There are many paying customers depending on your cloud services for their critical data. Diverting resources away from your core features set to new nice-to-haves like Work Chat (which is useless for 90% of us, IMHO) is a dangerous path to go down. Blaming Apple for your own software defects is not a good start. Please admit your mistakes and move on. I hope the product management team is listening here.
