  1. Yes, I had the same problem. Fixing bugs in Evernote is simply not a priority, I'm afraid. The company is happy to coast on the goodwill of those customers lucky enough not to have problems, leaving those experiencing problems high and dry. All part of the joyful (and unreliable) experience of Evernote. Which is why my organisation is abandoning the platform.
  2. Safari 7.1.7 on Mac OS 10.9.5. Web Clipper does not work‚ clicking toolbar button does nothing. Restarted Safari; re-installed Web Clipper extension; restarted Mac; even reset PRAM — all to ZERO effect. Please fix this ASAP. Will be deleting Evernote and switching to something more reliable.
  3. This is false logic. Of course it's not about philanthropy! It's about listening to paying customers. You can't grow by alienating your core user base. You grow by being recommended by your user base — that's where the business is! Ditching a tried and tested interface for the sake of fashion is simply not good business.
  4. I am praying that this so-called 'Beta' interface remains forever a user option. It's seems more a website or blog than an application. Please don't throw out the rule-book on user interface design simply to satisfy some internet passing fashion for "simplicity". It's not simple, it's empty. I'm hoping that Evernote does not feel the need to pander to the latest fashion, and that it puts the real user (to whom Evernote is a critical work tool) and real usability first.
