I used to use the menu bar app all the time because it was so useful and awesome. Now it totally blows! Things that need immediate fixing: When you click on it, it should just open up the note panel instead of changing focus to the desktop where you first opened it. I'm trying to take a quick note or view something I wrote in the context of the current desktop but it will switch my desktop view as if I clicked on the dock icon for an app which had a window open in a different space/desktop. As a result, I hardly use this menu bar app anymore, it's become practically useless as a quick unobtrusive note taker and note reference. Make it less obtrusive. Why is it so damn big now? Keep it simple and compact and reduce margins. Make screen shots feed directly into the menu bar app like before. I don't want a new note to be created in the main Evernote app with each capture. I want it the way it was before where the captures would show up in the menu bar app so it could be organized, curated, annotated, and notated before saving everything into a single note in the main app! I appreciate that the Evernote team has made a lot of progress on version 10 since its release so that it's become more like the old version in terms of usability but yet still enhanced. Before it was sleeker and quicker but too much was missing. BUT I really think the Menu Bar App is SOOOO important and has been neglected for too long. To me, that menu bar app is what made the difference between using Evernote and another note taking app. Now I find myself trying alternates like Sidenote solely because I want to have quick access for both note taking and referencing. It was somewhere to put a piece of copied text or image temporarily so I could reference it while in another app. Perhaps others don't use Evernote like I do, because I don't see how the team could possibly neglect the menu bar app for so long. To me that was the heart and soul of Evernote and without it, the main app is just another heavy note taking app like one note or word or any email app etc. Best, ML
