I've never used Evernote's AI cleanup, so I ask out of sheer curiosity, what does it clean up? Grammatical and spelling errors, poor organization, lack of adequate data? I'm a real control freak, so I like to find and fix such issues myself, but I might be persuaded to let Robbie Robot have a go at it, if he is really capable and doesn't regard my elegant prose as a lack of robotic exactitude. 🙂

Most of it is formatting, setting paragraphical breaks, and subdividing notes into a form when exported as pdf are readily printable.

Got the same message when I tried AI cleanup.

But after I opened the note in a new window and clicked on the AI cleanup there, it was properly processed.

Looks like one of these beta hiccups to me. Won't issue a support ticket, I don't use the feature.

Thanks for the note. AI Note cleanup doesn't work in the Mac app when viewing the note in the list view. When the note is opened as a separate note, the AI Note clean-up works just fine. I use it to clean up writing. I clip and paste from my Mac when using the 'reader' app on the Mac. Not a big deal for me, it works fine this way and in the web version.

  3. Thanks for that. I looked at my Business Card folder and its empty. I never got into the habit of scanning business cards. Today I don't have any cards. Working for several companies at the same time its hard to remember which one to hand out. I went to the dot card which automatically with a touch to an iPhone puts your info in the recipient's iPhone. For $20 its a good deal. Androids scan the QR code and it does the same. Ok enough for plugging dot card.

It might be those legacy names and emails are part of old shares now removed.

    Thanks, David

  4. This is a pain in the butt. I've worked with several people who have changed email over the last 10 years and when I start to type their name a list of emails come up. Those contacts are not in my Apple Contact file and I can't see where EN is pulling this info, it has to be in here somewhere.

Does anyone know if there is a file created and stored in any of the application files in library? And, if it is if I delete that file, then shut down restart would it automatically create a new one blank? if not I'd have to get it opened and erase the old addresses.

This seems so fundamental, every other cloud program I use lets you do this.  Hope there is a work around, difficult or not.

  5. I tried what you recommended. I use Evernote every day, all day.

It would be nice to have Grammarly work seamlessly in there. I have the latest Evernote and Grammarly Premium. I removed, reloaded and restarted, but nope, it doesn't work.

I went to Grammarly.com to see if I missed something. If it works, they haven't updated their support site to show it. This says its not supported.

  6. I have been an Evernote user for years. I use it in my research work. Recently began using it to organize chapters and subchapters in a book project. It would be better if my Grammarly account could lend a hand as I write out drafts of chapters and subchapters so I can more easily transfer to the total manuscript document.

Lets go Evernote either improve your Grammarly equivalent or open the door for Grammarly on the cloud or in the desktop. It would be a big help!!

  7. I use the screen capture tool all the time for sections of text or graphics.

I was disappointed when it went away.

I now use the Shift + Command + 4 to create a partial screen capture. Then I drag it to the Evernote app or over the Evernote App button in the menu bar. It opens and drops the capture into a new note. If I have a note open I drag it into the note and it works as it did before. Just adds a drag step, I can live with this.

    Love the Evernote app.

  8. WebClipper on Mac OS 10.14.6 plus FireFox

While Safari is not working with EN clipper I go to FireFox (69.0.1) and it works just like it did in Safari. So, until the Safari match up happens I will use Firefox to manage clipping web content.

Just a thought to keep going.

  9. The update for new iPad OS is allowing Penultimate to barely function and sync to Evernote. There is a glitch. On iPad Pro the Apple Pencil is no longer the smooth seamless stylus it was before. . It causes the page to move whe writing causing breaks in written word or lines. It’s not usable in this condition. Need another patch.
