  1. sorry to hear it. please try the following: disconnect all EN shared folders, remove EN database files (all of them) and uninstall EN. THEN follow the steps above to reinstall IE, and after that a fresh install of EN.
  2. i've had this problem a number of times. googled it extensively, tried everything. posting here now with a solution that worked for me. resetting IE did not work - reinstalling it did! in windows 8.1 search "windows features" and click "turn windows features on or off." dialogue box opens, un-select Internet Explorer 11. let it do it's thing. restart computer. run CCleaner (or another reg cleaner). restart computer. search "windows features" and again "turn windows features on or off." SELECT IE11. wait. restart computer. done.
