@Octavian when you are in ScanSnap Cloud, and the sync to the cloud service doesn’t work: Tap on the scan. An annotation window with the scan will open.

Tap on the sharing symbol bottom right. Select the format (I got pdf or jpeg). Then you get the standard sharing options, among them EN and other installed services. You can save the scan this way.

Actually when I tried, syncing with EN worked, and the scan ended up in a new note in my EN account. But I could have used the alternative sharing method in addition, or if it did not upload as an alternative.

Thanks, your workaround unfortunately is not feasible if you have a lot of scans in the cloud that still needed to be processed and it will work for a few documents, but if you use a document scanner to actually scan a lot of documents then that is another story. And that was the case here. I have been using SnapScan software (and later SnapScan Cloud) for 10+ years now. (And Evernote since 2008, though I am getting more and more open to alternatives now.)

But hey, it is working again!

You should be able to create a new profile. I certainly can.

If you are replying to me - I was talking about SnapScan Cloud, there are no profiles in that app. You can only create new accounts which does not help with 50+ scans in the app pipeline of an existing account. I however tried that as well with the result that I could not log in using the new account (on a new device as I was to scared trying this on my main iPhone and iPads).

BUT - rejoice, it is working again. ScanSnap Cloud is uploading to Evernote again. I am incredibly relieved and scared at the same time.

Scan into a local folder and then drag and rop into an Import Folder or direct into a note in Evernote locally.  That will keep you going while we await this authentication issue to be fixed.

Actually I always scan locally and then rename the result and drop into an Import Folder.

Good idea, but this doesn‘t work as my ScanSnap Cloud apps were set to scan to Evernote prior to this outage. Whenever I try to change the scan destination I get endless error messages and, as a result, cannot change the destination as the app is waiting for Evernote for an answer. I have tried this numerous times during the past hours.

    But thanks for the suggestion!

Would be nice if „back“ was a proper description. When introduced (not foreseeable) it would be a real extension of all prior clients. Split view has never been supported by EN since it was introduced on iPadOS.

It would mean to enable the mobile client to handle more than one note at a time. This would be a real booster for productivity.

I think we are talking of two different things here - I can still remember quite well using Evernote in split screen mode and then dragging and dropping content over into a note from another application. And this is what I was referring to. Good old days before the Evernote v10 armageddon last fall. So, yes, bring it back Evernote!

You are talking about two instances of Evernote running in two separate split screens. Just like what Apple Notes can do (including dragging content between two notes by the way). I don't know if Evernote could ever do something like this, but I suppose not. Here you are right - this would be a nice addition.
