  1. It is possible to disable all shortcuts for Clipper for your browser in Settings > Shortcuts > uncheck Enable keyboard shortcuts If you use some shortcuts but not others, you could assign the ones you don't want to an unlikely to be used combination. Or are you requesting a more granular ability beyond that to keep global shortcuts on but disable certain shortcuts and not others without manually reassigning the ones you don't use?
  2. Hi@fr0zensphere, @MikeP, @PinkElephant @Paul A., thank you all for your input and for calling out the issue as well as possible workarounds in the meantime. We now have a report filed with this helpful information (I can also reproduce it) and the development team will take a look, but there's currently no ETA on when to expect a fix. Thanks again.
  3. Thank you @Zec for the additional details, we've intermittently been able to reproduce similar behavior as well. Our development team is aware of this and will be investigating, but I don't have an estimate yet on when to expect this to be fixed.
  4. Hi @CausticChemist, thanks for reporting this. What version were you on with the log snippet you shared? 7.18 is currently the latest. Also, I see you mention it happens every time regardless of clip style - but is this error happening for you on all sites as well or just some? Do you remember any specific or general steps to reproduce when this happens by chance?
  5. Thanks for reporting this. If you're comfortable sharing, could you add the PDF url here? If not, please feel free to get in touch with our support team.
  6. @Paul A.Amazon fix is ready and released in 7.15; Gmail fix will not be in 7.15 or 7.16. The Gmail fix is still in development but will be coming asap, but no eta at the moment. Possible workarounds to consider in the meantime, hopefully the Evernote for Gmail add-on or forwarding to the incoming Evernote email address can fill in until then.
  7. Hi @Reuven, this should be fixed on version 7.15. Can you please double check and see if your extension has updated? If the issue is still happening for you on 7.15 please do get in touch with our support team.
  8. I'm glad to hear it! This does seem to be an intermittent issue though, so be aware it may return at some point (hopefully not). Our developers are working on resolving this in all scenarios, but no eta at the moment.
  9. Hi @EricBen, thanks for mentioning this. We're aware of an intermittent issue where this may occur but it doesn't seem to be consistent. I've been trying to reproduce as you mention but have been unable to on my end on 7.14 so far. Anything change in your setup or the type of email where this happens most consistently or did it simply just start happening across the board for you this week? We don't have an estimate on when to expect a fix at this time, but any details you may have are welcome. @gazumped's suggestion could be a good possible workaround in the meantime to give you greater Gmail clipping consistency.
  10. This issue has been resolved and the fix will be included in the next web clipper release. There's still other fixes also being prepared for the release so no eta yet. We do understand Amazon is a very popular page and are working to get it to you all as soon as possible.
  11. @Roxie68that is definitely not expected for all web pages. SSome sources may be more likely to trigger that message than others, but it shouldn't be all pages. Please first make sure your app is updated and then get in touch with our support team to investigate what you're encountering in more detail.
  12. @Allan Bogildit sounds like you may be encountering a different issue than the one mentioned in this thread, but defiintely still an issue. Is it a specific source you are sharing when this happens? Is it all webpages from Safari or just certain ones? If you force quit (don't reinstall) Evernote and reopen the app, do the prior shares start to show up?
  13. @Roxie68the issue you're encountering should hopefully be resolved in an upcoming update. If you still see this happening in the coming weeks, please mark down the source content you were sharing so we can try to reproduce the issue, and get in touch with our support team.
  14. Thanks for reporting this @dbareis, our developers will have a look.
  15. Thanks everyone. Our developers are aware of the issue and are working on resolving it.
  16. Thanks @PStirton and @gazumped for reporting this. I was able to reproduce the issue on Windows (but not Mac) with same Clipper and Chrome version as @PStirton. Our developers are aware of this happening at some sources and are working to resolve it.
  17. Hi @lisec, I understand how frustrating it must be to complete a clip and then view it in Evernote and see that error. Are there any specific share sources this happens most frequently for you (if you're comfortable sharing) or does it seem to be at random? We're aware of some sources but any more information could be helpful. If it's an issue happening across all your shares, please get in touch with our support team to take a closer look if you haven't already.
  18. Hi @PapaCr, if you force quit the app (don't reinstall), then reopen it, do the clips import and complete the sync on the version you're currently on? If they do, please then update to 10.6 where we have fixes that may help resolve some import process issues going forward. If you're already on 10.6 and they still aren't importing even after a force quit/reopen, please save your logs and get in touch with our support team so we can take a closer look with you.
  19. Thanks, all. Our apologies. We can also reproduce this and are working to resolve it.
  20. @C Phil thank you for letting us know - we're aware of that site and are working to capture the correct content there and other sites affected by that error.
  21. Hi @Doc Molly, I'm sorry to hear that you're encountering this. Please try to 'force quit' your Evernote iOS app and then reopen it to see if that gets your saved clips importing again. Don't reinstall or you'll lose your pending clips to be imported. If the force quit/reopen doesn't work, please get in touch with our support team for further assistance.
  22. @BananaBreadin this circumstance, if you haven't already, please get in touch with our support team for more personalized help to dig deeper into what you're encountering.
  23. @Twitchly Thank you for mentioning this issue from this source of Wall Street Journal, we are looking into it. @BPBear It sounds like what you're encountering may be different if you're not seeing any indication of the clip being created or importing into the main app and if you're not seeing the note being created at all with the "Error syncing url, cannot convert" after sharing from some websites. Does an iOS "force quit" of the main Evernote app (don't reinstall or you will need to re-share any prior pages that haven't imported and synced yet) help with new mobile shares? Not a guarantee, but sometimes it can wake the sharing/importing processes back up in similar-sounding scenarios. @enpeef Are you comfortable sharing some of the affected websites you're seeing the "Error syncing url, cannot convert" message on? So far we're aware of some mobile Twitter, Wall Street Journal, Tech Crunch, Fox News, Wikipedia, webpages that may be affected. If you're seeing it anywhere else specific and don't mind sharing - this will help our investigation. Our apologies you're all encountering these issues. The team is working towards solutions in these scenarios.
  24. @BananaBreadif you're sharing a note or notebook already existing in your Evernote account to someone - you'll want to go to the specific notebook/note and control the share from there as you're the owner and it won't be listed in 'Shared with me'. If someone's shared a notebook or note to you, it should be listed in the 'Shared with me' menu. If you're not seeing it listed there, try checking in 'Work Chat' to see if it may have possibly been shared in an earlier chat thread with you and that person. Here's more info on sharing notes and notebooks. @romelden it looks like this thread was originally marked as solved due to a question about the mobile clipper, or 'share extension' (sharing web pages/content into Evernote, not sharing between users) -- that was resolved for the person asking the question when they did a reinstall of the app. That doesn't mean there may not still be possible issues one may encounter with sharing mobile clipped content into Evernote, or when trying to share content already existing in Evernote between users, just that the original question for the thread creator was resolved.
