  1. Thank you. I will move this to a support ticket. Many thanks to everyone involved.
  2. I’m sorry I do not follow. I’m trying to comply with my IT department policies. Are you saying that I’m not? Or are you saying that since Evernote decided this is how it’s gonna work, if I don’t like it, quit using Evernote? Please clarify. And, since you’re making these very strong statements, do you represent Evernote? Please help me understand your background in this conversation so that I can give it the appropriate credit. I mean no disrespect. I just wanna understand who I’m talking to and what my true options are.
  3. To comply with our IT policies, we must disable any software function that bypasses security protocols. Is it possible to disable auto-updates.
  4. Evernote has released an update designed to work around IT-imposed restrictions Is this official Evernote policy? I certainly hope not.
  5. I believe we have the same issue. Our Versions keep upgrading/downgrading every day. How do we disable the update process? This seems to bypass our IT departments upgrade policy and is reeking havoc for us. Including the possible duplication/corruption of some of our notes.
  6. But this is the Evernote Business Technical Issues channel. I am having the exact same "technical issue". Seems to me like this is the perfect place to be. I call them Ghost notebooks. They're there, but you cannot interact with them. No longer showing up in admin console but while listed in the windows client, you cannot interact with them.
  7. I actually haven't visited the forums in quite a while. I always left depressed when I was seeing that my favorite organization app was "going down the tubes". I briefly visited yesterday and decided to support jimer2 since no one had confirmed that they were having the same issue. I'll start reporting issues like this once I see Evernote actually improving what is already wrong with it. The new CEO has promised to start correcting things. If I see signs that it is again becoming the smooth running machine it used to be, I'll get re-involved in trying to improve it. Until then, my involvement is going to stay limited.
  8. I agree with jimer2 above. While it doesn't take 8 minutes for me, it does take 1 to 5 minutes, regardless of whether there is just 1 email or multiple. My system is Windows 10 64bit Intel i7 processor Solid State hard drive 16GB ram Office 2016
