  1. My data copied just fine, which makes me confident in the data transfer. But during the move the window stayed in one spot on my screen and was unmovable to another spot. Any one else see this? --- A L ---
  2. After a restart, when Evernote launches it is a different window size than before. I have an high resolution 42" monitor and am wondering if there is some windows size limitation here? Anyone else seeing this? --- A L ---
  3. Moving my data to another drive worked just fine. However, the "Moving Evernote data" window was not moveable during the moving process. Any particular reason it stays in one spot? --- A L ---
  4. I find when my computer reboots, the Evernote window size defaults to something that is other than the windows size when the computer was restarted. Anyone else experiencing this? --- A L ---
  5. This workaround seems to work for me: (using my Windows 11 desktop computer) 1) Create all the notes you want, ignoring the thumbnails. 2) Create a brand new note and paste the image you want to use as a thumbnail. (I wait for the thumbnail to appear in my Snippets view.) 3) Select all the notes you want to be with the thumbnail note and merge them, with the thumbnail note moved to the top note to be merged. I still want the thumbnail selection to be native to EN. --- A L --- As an aside, my 300dpi jpg's seem to work OK, but my 600dpi jpg's do not show. I have not tried any values in-between.
  6. Add me to the list of users that would like to select the thumbnail to be displayed in Snippets View.
  7. And Windows needing lots of disk space when updating is a really good reason to be able to off-load the cache files to another location. Like I said, I only have a 250G boot drive. I do hope the team at EN gives us this ability. Otherwise I'll be using the legacy desktop client until I build a new machine with a larger boot drive.
  8. I'm not sure. But I wasn't getting any low disk space warnings. After deleting the cache folder, I went thru Windows space saving wizard and now have 107 GB free out of 231GB available.
  9. I had this same problem. C drive was filled. Only had about 178MB left when Window 10 gave me a warning. First I uninstalled EN10.x. Then I renamed the EN cache folder in Appdata/Local/Evernote. Then I ran the legacy Windows EN and that worked. [I had not removed it.] So I moved the cache folder to another drive. Rebooted. Legacy EN still worked. So I need to wait to see if that cache folder can be relocated. PS: My boot drive is only about 250G SSD. Cache folder was about 17G before removal.
