MS style keyboard strokes for navigating text, please!

In MS apps - like Word, OneNote, Outlook I use simple keyboard strokes to navigate my text all the time. e.g. CTRL+SHIFT+CURSOR LEFT to select a word. CTRL+SHIFT+CURSOR UP or CURSOR DOWN to select a whole paragraph. In Evernote web browser I can do the former, but the latter is a shortcut for superscript or subscript. It is so infuriating!! Can this be changed, please?!
