About mejones

  1. Hey all, Having the same issue as above running OS X 10.10.2, Evernote premium 6.0.6 (451290 App Store). Clicking on the annotate "@", nothing happens, regardless of PDF or notebook. I've noticed this issue since it updated to 6.0.6 automatically on March 6th. Help would be great. Cheers, Morgan
  2. Why is highlighting in PDF annotation so clunky? In preview on mac, text can be highlighted with ease, without the need to draw a straight line, and adjust the size of the highlighter to match the text. Would be great to see this looked at in the future.
  3. Thanks to you both. I'm premium, didn't realise I had even selected auto-update. I submitted the crash reports each time Evernote attempted to startup. I have downloaded via the Evernote website, not the mac store. I deleted and re-installed the app, it has fixed the problem (despite other users previously reporting similar issues that weren't resolved this way) Will ensure auto-update is off from now on!
  4. p.s. Logging in to the web app, and phone app (iOS 8) works perfectly. I am using the latest mac build on OS X Yosemite Just saw in my trash that there's an Evernote (450845).app, so presumably there's been an auto-update gone wrong.
  5. Upon startup this morning, Evernote said 'migrating notes from previous version', before crashing. I haven't been able to get any part of the app to open since. On the crash log it says this: Application Specific Information: *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'MissingResourceException', reason: 'Unable to instantiate ENMLValidationHelper' With exams looming in days, I'm absolutely beside myself that this isn't working!! Morgan
  6. Would be awesome if the Evernote Safari Web Clipper could insert the clip into an existing note instead of creating a new one each time. At the moment it's quicker for me to screenshot, find the file and insert it then annotate than to use the purpose built tool.
  7. As there isn't a dedicated suggestions/feedback email or form, here's my two cents worth after four months of solid use on 5.5.1 in OSX: I would really appreciate the ability to wrap text around images - it seems really primitive that there is greater functionality in the editing box in this forum than there is in the actual program. Similarly, I'd like to see the ability to modify tables, such as add an extra column/row, or even just the ability change the width of the table or individual columns/rows. I have also found cutting and pasting from Word and similar that often bullet points are so left justified that they end up off the screen. Annotating PDF lecture slides within Evernote, I would like to see the ability to move from one page to the next with the up/down arrow keys rather than needing to use the mouse.
