pfff, ignore - it seems it takes a loooooooooong while until the backlinks are recognized within the target notes.

on the Web Client the feature is still working fine.

As @PinkElephantmentioned, they recommend to not get to close to the document in general. Business card detection freezes the App.

Hi Team,

are you able to use this function? I'm able to scan almost everything, works fine, automatic snapping etc.

But if I try to scan a business card it won't detect it as a business card and if I have taken a scan (e. g. document b/w) and then change the type to "business card" (still in Evernote's camera mode) the App freezes immediately.

I should provide more details to reproduce the problem. Since I wasn‘t able to further investigate and no chance to reproduce it right now, that ticket went to „sleeping“

I‘ve opened a support ticket.

Seems problem occurs only when completing tasks within the home screen.

it seems changing the name/title of the todo within the note forces to sync the open/closed status of that task to home view and todo view (could be a temporary workaround). Changing the content of the note does not fix the problem.

I tried dozens of re-syncs, note edits, to force that change synced to everywhere within the elephant. No chance to fix that. Exactly that bug was the reason to leave Evernote!

still on 10.65.3 and met an "old friend", a still not fixed bug, even I was off for 9 months...

Seems completed actions are still getting out of sync from time to time. While the todo is completed in the note, it constantly reappears in the home screen and in the todo view as still open. On all devices incl. Web-App.

I tried dozens of re-syncs, note edits, to force that change synced to everywhere within the elephant. No chance to fix that. Exactly that bug was the reason to leave Evernote! 

after being off from Evernote since 9 months or so, I was curious to see whats going on with my „old friend“ Evernote. And I‘ve to say the 10.57 is a huge improvement in terms of reliability and speed! well done! I‘ll play with it for some more days to see how it behaves when tons of data have been uploaded, and maybe, there will be a come back for me - who knows.

sorry, on the road - the difference is (if I remember right): before this change (even not sure when it happened) we saw only suggestions regarding tags, there were even tags listed, not assigned (it seemed just a somehow stupid suggestion) to a note - now, the suggestions are no longer suggestions, these are tags used by the current list of notes.

I see exactly the same behaviour on my Mac using search - the suggestions are much stronger, or better, it's not longer a suggestion, is just a list of tags, content filters, etc, used by the current list of notes - so you're realy able to narrow down your search by just tapping on the tags, content filters, etc.

Maybe this change was implemented on the server side of Evernote and is available on all clients now.

it seems this long requested feature found it‘s way to the Evernote app - in a different way, but, what a big surprise to me!

I just tapped on the search (magnifying glass) and entered a tag, it was recognized quickly, I tapped on it, the tag was added to the search filter. So far so good.

Now (!), tap again on the magnifying glass, and boom, you can see a list of suggestions (tags, content types, etc.) - and, finally - I can see a *complete* list of tags used by the current list of notes! select a tag and just tap again on the mag. glass and the list of tags gets updated, as expected!

And, in addition, finally, the „include sub tags“ is working correctly now on iOS, too - I raised a bug ticket a few days ago!

it's a bit different on Mac: there are two tabs: notes and reminders - that's the main route to filter notes holding reminders.

@PinkElephantplease try it again in the „all notes notebook“ - no toggle switch available - I found out that the toggle switch is only available after searching something -> if you already have a somehow filtered/searched list of notes. Seems to be a bug…

one more interesting point: same issue using the Web client in my browser - no toggle switch there - pretty strange isn‘t it!?

OK, thanks, I exactly know what Support will tell me: log out, re-install, log in, re-download everything - hm, still the same experience as one year ago…different story

I've raised a ticket for that - just to confirm if this is a general issue or something here depending to my environment.

Have you this issue also? (iOS is providing such a toggle switch, while Mac and Web client do not)

it would be great being able to select several notes to e. g. move them to a notebook or to tag them in one go.

Just tap and hold on a single note to enter multi-select mode, then select all needed notes and then provide some actions like move, tag or delete
